One August day in 1996, the 20-year-old hotel worker Trude Espås is observed sitting on a rock not far from the center of Geiranger. 11 days later she is found murdered. The police comb through the popular tourist village, and end up with, among other things, a central track in Germany. After 25 years, the murder case is still a big mystery.
Early on a Sunday morning in June 2004, the 22-year-old nursing student Anne Slåtten is on her way to work, but she never shows up. After a day, she is found dead in a thicket just a few hundred meters from the workplace. Who could have taken the life of the fun-loving and caring girl?
The former artist, flame eater and TV dancer Julio Kopseng lives a crowded life in Oslo's dance environment. When he is reported for rape in 2013, an avalanche of rape reports against him is triggered. He is eventually sentenced to 21 years in custody for assaulting 19 women, and mistreating his former partner.
On the evening of New Year's Day 1 in 2012, the security alarm is triggered at the home of 98-year-old Hilda Feste. When the home service arrives, they witness a horrific incident. The police immediately start hunting for the perpetrator. Could mass testing of DNA from several hundred people solve the murder mystery?
After reports of a smoking bonfire in Hafjell, the police in Lillehammer went on the murder alarm. The remains of a dismembered human are found on the pyre. At the same time, two people are reported missing from a nearby home. Who is the person on the fire? And where is the other person? The tracks lead the police to Amsterdam.
