Ocean Warriors is a six-hour television series following young activists from around the world as they answer this call, to protect the oceans and confront the lawbreakers. Produced by the Peabody and EMMY award-winning Brick City TV and Robert Redford's Sundance Productions, Ocean Warriors weaves multiple stories of courage, conflict, and change, from the Antarctic's remote Southern Ocean, to the coral reefs of Tanzania and the vast tuna fisheries of the Western Pacific. Set sail for the front lines as a global coalition of activists, campaigners, scientists and investigative journalists prepare to stare down poachers, tear up illegal networks and bring the outlaws to justice.
Marine Conservation Groups battle outlaw fishing vessels through frigid waters and treacherous territories with efforts to force the end of poaching and a criminal network of fishermen.
In Antarctica, Sea Shepherd clash with a notorious poaching vessel. An undercover sting operation in Tanzania leads the team to an explosives superdealer. And Jim Wickens exposes illegal shark finning by foreign ships in Palau's protected waters.
After narrowly avoiding a collision with the Thunder, Sea Shepherd attempts to contact the crew of the poaching vessel by throwing messages onto its deck; in Palau, Jim Wickens confronts the extreme poverty that drives illegal fishing.
Sea Shepherd teams up with a commercial fishing boat to fight against the Thunder, a poaching vessel; Greenpeace activists confront a captain over the illegal shark fins in his ship's hold; in Tanzania, the team discover a cache of explosives.
The captain of the Thunder sends out a mayday alert and calls on Sea Shepherd to rescue his crew; Jim Wickens turns his focus to high-seas slavery in Indonesia; Greenpeace clashes with fishermen while protecting the rare vaquita porpoise.
As the Thunder sinks, Sea Shepherd races to collect evidence of the vessel's illegal activity; in Mexico, the crew of the Farley Mowat rescues a large whale; in Indonesia, Jim Wickens joins a dramatic chase that results in destruction of three boats.
