Next Episode of Our Family Farm Rescue with Adam Henson is
unknown.
Countryfile presenter and farmer Adam Henson examines the changes farmers are making to their businesses to survive, from transforming drab barns into luxuriously usable spaces to tapping into the lucrative tourist trade and maximising profit with farm-to-fork ventures.
Adam begins at Castlehill Farm, where Ian and Karen Taylor's children are keen for their parents to find a new source of income to keep them going in their retirement.
This time, Adam pays a visit to James and Karen at Potterland Farm, who have decided to create a bespoke smokery on their land, enabling them to smoke meat to sell on to UK restaurants. Adam is not convinced at first, but once he samples the smoked meat, he backs their ambitious project all the way.
The presenter meets Iwan Pughe Jones and Katrina Wheat at Penygraig Farm in Wales, a traditional sheep and cattle farm where the couple make their living from selling livestock. However, fluctuating market prices and inconsistent pay-days mean that the farm is in financial trouble, so they have decided to create a high-end glamping site on their land to bring in some additional income.
In the final episode, Adam visits the Jeans family at Bohetherick Farm, which sits on the border between Cornwall and Devon in the Tamar Valley. Couple Will and Jess have a herd of 100 cows and 30 sheep, but despite running the farm efficiently, they are not making enough money. A visit to Adam's park inspires Jess and Will and, despite their concerns about investing their hard-earned savings, they set up an alpaca trekking business on their land.
