Hightown centers on Jackie Quinones, a hard-partying lesbian in Provincetown, MA, aka P-Town; a National Marine Fisheries Service Agent who uses her gun and badge to seduce tourist chicks. She's none-too-enthusiastically putting in her time until she can draw a federal pension – but everything changes when she discovers a body in Cape Cod Bay, and finds herself at the center of the Cape's gruesome heroin epidemic.
NMFS agent Jackie Quiñones leads a fun, free-wheeling and booze-addled life, then she uncovers a dead body on the beach, and she is plunged into the center of a complicated and dangerous opioid ring investigation.
After discovering a lead on Sherry's murder, Jackie becomes determined to solve the case. Junior finds himself trapped, and Ray connects with his CI in ways that are unprofessional.
Jackie returns to rehab, but only to help further her investigation. Ray starts closing in on Osito at the same time he and Renee cross the line. Junior takes the first step to becoming a soldier.
Jackie finds out where Krista Collins is staying, but gets pulled back into her own life. Ray comes face to face with Osito. Junior tries to reconcile with Donna's family.
Jackie puts every potentially positive aspect of her current situation at risk as she goes on a bender, which comes to put Krista Collins in extreme danger; Junior finds himself looking for a different way to prove his qualities.
Jackie and Junior find it difficult to deal with the traumatic aftermath of a recent event; Ray's investigation makes some positive progress that could expedite finding the answers; Ray is ready to support Renee when she needs it the most.
Jackie asks Ray and the rest of the CCINU to find Junior after she learns he played a role in Sherry's murder, but she must do so before Frankie calls for his death; Renee comes to ask serious questions about her and Ray's burgeoning relationship.
Jackie and Ray try to return to business as usual after a depressing failure, only to learn the case might not be closed.
