Partners In Crime

Series produced by Columbia Pictures TV starring Loni Anderson and Lynda Carter. Shot in natural scenery of the Californian city of San Francisco. It concerns two women who have received as an inheritance a detective agency, since both ladies were married to the same man who has recently been murdered in his own office. Both women decide to investigate on their own the murder of their ex-husband and there a reciprocal friendship is born to overcome the hostility that had shrouded their first meeting. Sidney Kovac, who earns a life as skillful pickpocket and a budding musician, and Carole Stanwyck, who comes from a family fallen on hard times, and now works as photographer, are the lead characters. After solving the mystery that surrounded the death of their husband, they decide to carry on with the detective agency, providing thus a remarkable turnaround in their lives. Jeanine, their charming mother-in-law and owner of a bookshop specializing in novels of mystery, lends a hand.
