“Pati Ba Pintig ng Puso?” is a movie mini-series also known as "Sine Novela presents Pati Ba Pintig ng Puso?" and "Sine Novela". The English translation of this show is “Even the Beat of the Heart?” and it began airing on the GMA network in the Philippines on 21 May 07. This is a remake of a big screen movie that was released in 1985 in the Philippines. Aldrin played by actor J. C. Vera has just returned to the Philippines after a long stay in the United States. He has returned home because his older sister Mabelle played by Chynna Ortaleza has been institutionalized in an insane asylum. It was his grandfather who did this to her and who he has found out caused his parents to die early. Aldrin has vowed revenge against his grandfather until the beautiful Jenna played by Yasmien Kudi comes into his life.
