In this edition: in South Wales, police are called to a disturbance in a block of flats and are confronted by a man brandishing two large kitchen knives. Officers contain him behind safety doors and begin negotiating with him. But as the incident escalates, police realise that they might have to use taser to protect both themselves and the man.
In Humberside, a lone-officer with a police dog arrives on scene following reports of a street fight. When the officer intervenes, he is assaulted by one of the men with a right hook to the head. Injured and with no other officers to back him up, the officer must rely on his police dog to bring his attacker to under control.
And in Somerset, police receive a chilling 999 call in which a woman claims to have stabbed her husband several times. When officers arrive on the scene they try to save the victim, while his attacker cooly and calmly confesses to her crimes.
An officer comes face to face with death during a search for a gunman; a raid on a criminal gang ends in a daring rooftop chase; and an officer puts his life on the line as an inferno engulfs a block of flats.
In Northamptonshire, police are searching for a suspected gunman. A lone officer approaches a male in an empty car park and is suddenly attacked during the routine search. A violent assault leads to the policeman being overpowered and his attacker strangling him. Back-up is on its way, but will it get there in time?
In North London, a criminal gang suspected of defrauding pensioners in Gloucestershire have been tracked to a premises in the capital. In a planned raid, officer's storm the building, but one of the gang escapes out of a back window. What follows is a deadly rooftop chase.
And in Birmingham, while on routine patrol, officers spot flames engulfing a rooftop. Once on scene, an officer puts his life on the line, immediately running into the building to evacuate the families living there. As he gets to the top floor he discovers the source of the blaze: a cannabis farm is burning out of control.
Following an assault, armed police chase down a gun-wielding suspect. Officers urgently need to capture a murder suspect, and a police officer is brutally attacked with a machete.
A dangerous criminal is on the run and a stop and search puts and officers life at risk. West Midland police officers approach two men on a high street which soon turns into a struggle, revealing one of the men has a shocking secret. On the outskirts of Birmingham, an officer engages in dialogue with a suspicious man that leads to a physical altercation involving a moving car.
Hampshire police break into a house to free a woman from a knife-wielding intruder - yet once they get inside they find a fire starting to burn out of control. In Essex a routine investigation into a traffic collision turns into an assault on an officer and an escape into the woods. A man in Wales threatens two female police officers with a knife, leaving them to calm him down before one of them gets hurt.
Officers in the West Midlands get caught in a car chase with criminals in possession of a gun and in Wales a man sets his trousers on fire after being caught throwing tiles from a rooftop. Warwickshire officers on the search for a missing pensioner locate his phone in a forest, forcing them to call in assistance from a helicopter.
