Next Episode of The Real Girl's Kitchen is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
The Real Girl's Kitchen is an intimate look inside Haylie Duff's kitchen and life, her family and friends. You'll catch a glimpse of Haylie's world as she shares recipes, stories and adventures while exploring Los Angeles, where she lives, as well as New York City where she is constantly inspired.
When Haylie's childhood friend, Carly, comes to town, all she ever wants to eat is sushi, sushi, sushi! So Haylie surprises Carly with a carefully curated at-home sushi night. After inspiration from sushi master Yoya Takahasi, the girls crash Haylie's mom's kitchen, cooking what they learned from Yoya. Friends stop by to make Creamy Rock Shrimp Tempura, Shishito Peppers and classic Sushi Hand Rolls and realize that Japanese cuisine is more challenging to make than those speedy sushi masters make it look!
Haylie and her friends used to jet down to Mexico every time they needed a little R&R. But between work, new babies, and crazy schedules all around, there's no time for vacay. Well, in Mexico, that is! So Haylie decides to bring Mexico to Cali with a home-based fiesta of Salt-Crusted Whole Snapper Fish Tacos, fresh Sriracha Lime Corn tortillas and Cotija Corn on the Cob. Add in a piƱata and margaritas, and the girls get a delicious taste of vacation while staying right at home.
Haylie's good friend Kurt Finney manages Pearl's Restaurant on the Sunset strip. With such a prime location, the restaurant could easily bring in a substantial late night crowd. The problem is, their bar menu is well, non-existent. So, Kurt asks Haylie to test some recipes that will land an after-dark crowd, with some guilty-pleasure late-night eats . But will Haylie's Cubano Sandwich, Jerk Spice Chicken Wings, and Bacon-Wrapped Dates, hit the late night spot?
Haylie has been asked to do a cooking demo at this year's South Beach Food and Wine Festival in Miami - in front of hundreds of foodies and famous chefs. It's intimidating, to say the least. With the help of friend, Arielle Kebbel, Haylie tests two recipes for the demo: Green Chicken Enchiladas and Kale and Pea Pesto Linguine with Pancetta and Grilled Shrimp. Armed with a private demo lesson from famed chef, Jet Tila, Haylie is ready to take on Miami! But will she win over this gourmet crowd?
