Robot Wars is a British game show modelled on a US-based competition of the same name. Teams of amateur and professional roboteers make their own robots to fight against each other in both friendly and tournament matches.
In this first explosive episode, a returning roboteer has a taste for victory, an old favourite from the original series tries to prove its doubters wrong and Robot Wars gets presidential with perhaps the world's first satirical fighting robot. The teams are tasked with surviving brutal group battles and nightmarish knockout rounds in order to make it into the heat final. But that is not all - this series, there is a playoff battle for third place, culminating with the second and third place robots battling it out in a massive Ten Robot Rumble for a wildcard spot in the grand final.
The teams this week are Donald Thump, Behemoth, Sabretooth, Apollo, Apocalypse and The Swarm. Along the way, they must dodge arena hazards, menacing house robots and the all new Fog of War. Let battle commence!
In the second heat of the series, returning champions Carbide mount their title defence against some of the toughest machines in the competition. They have to fight through brutal group battles and nightmarish knockout rounds in order to make it to the heat final. Robots in this heat include runners up from last series Eruption, fellow grand finalists Aftershock, Crackers N Smash, champions Carbide, Gabriel 2 and Big Nipper. Along the way they must dodge arena hazards, menacing house robots and the all new Fog of War. But that's not all - this series there is a playoff battle for third place, culminating with the second- and third-place robots battling it out in a massive Ten Robot Rumble for a wildcard spot in the grand final.
Competing in this heat are Apex, Vulture, Terrorhurtz, Track-Tion, Bucky the Robot and Rapid. We begin with brutal group battles followed by exciting new knockout rounds, culminating in a ferocious final. The top two teams will face each other in the heat final for the chance to secure their place in this series' grand final. The battles are all overseen by our judges Professor Noel Sharkey, Professor Sethu Vijayakumar and Dr Lucy Rogers. During the fights teams must try to dodge arena hazards, menacing house robots and the all new Fog of War. This fourth heat of the series features an experienced roboteer fighting to secure his legacy, a new wave of a spinner and the most powerful crusher in Robot Wars history. Competing through brutal group battles and fierce knockout rounds for a place in the heat final are Iron-Awe 6, The Kegs, Tauron, Nuts 2, Concussion and Androne 4000. They must dodge arena hazards, menacing house robots and the all new Fog of War. But that is not all - this series there is a playoff battle for third place, culminating with the second and third place robots battling it out in a massive Ten Robot Rumble for a wildcard spot in the Grand Final. Let battle commence!
This penultimate episode determines which of the incredible fighting machines makes it into the grand final, along with the final two robots to compete in the Ten Robot Rumble. The competition in the final heat is fierce with Thor, Coyote, Expulsion, Hobgoblin, Push to Exit and Magnetar all battling it out in the bulletproof arena. Along the way, they must dodge arena hazards, menacing house robots and the all new Fog of War.
Once the carnage of the Robot Rumble is over, there are two brutal group battles followed by the nightmarish knockout rounds in order to determine the two robots that will fight it out to decide who the Robot Wars champion is. During the battles, teams must try to dodge deadly arena hazards, menacing house robots and the all-new Fog of War. Who will be crowned the new Robot Wars champion?
