A small and uninviting den is opened up by expanding it into the kitchen to create a family room/lounge space for family and friends. This ranch style house features a small kitchen and den with no flow. Using a steamer trunk as the inspiration for the design, a cohesive, open space was created. By taking out the wall between the two rooms; building a larger dining table with Victorian tin ceiling tiles, hiding the TV using a TV lift inside a storage bench, removing outdated paneling and replacing with bead board, adding soft comfortable furnishings, and steamer trunk doors to complete the design, this Industrial Revival Lounge will be the room everyone spends time in.

A cold recreation room that's meant for the kids to play in and to double as a guest room just isn't cutting it for this young family! Between the outdated tile, storage wall and lack of light and no actual entry door, nobody wants to hang out in the space. In three days, this room is all transformed to become a beach inspired hang out spot. From floor to ceiling, the room is updated with dark hardwood floors, modern storage, natural swings, a hi-tech sleeper sofa, ocean inspired furniture and more. Plus, one sentimental photo is transformed into the focal piece of the room and sets the tone for the whole space. Combined with natural light, funky rugs and a magnetic door to display art, the space is converted into a cozy beach hang out.

An upstairs master bedroom by the beach had a style described as college chic. By ripping out the carpet and installing light hardwood floors, adding a new and larger French door to the patio, replacing a non-working wood stove with an electric fireplace, and adding custom shelving, a new, cohesive, and bright foundation was built. Adding calming colors like purples and grays along with furnishings like a romantic four poster canopy bed, homemade artwork, bedside tables dressed with nautical rope, and silk flowers to dress up an unused flower box, this mish mash of a room becomes a relaxing, cozy, romantic retreat by the water.

A white living space with zero personality didn't match this spunky homeowner! From the bland walls to the scary fireplace to the day bed for a couch, this first time homebuyer needed a little glitz to liven up her space. Designer Todd Davis brings glitz and glamour to this living room! By using two different wallpapers as accents, this homeowner got the gold she asked for! Plus, Todd designed a glowing soffit to cast a shimmery light over her new gold leaf dining table. The room comes together with all new furniture, a facelift for her tired fireplace and to top things off, Todd brings in a one of a kind hidden television!

A white, open, not updated living/dining space is unified with a beach and travel inspired design and cohesive floor plan. A custom climbing wall made from reclaimed wood runs along one wall and the same wood frames the TV on the opposite wall above the newly faced fireplace. Hardwood flooring replaces old carpet, and a new glass top bar area with modern stainless bar stools replaces an outdated railing. A travel theme is carried through a custom dining table top, starburst mirrors, and a photo project guaranteed to stimulate conversation. This new Traveler's Retreat is the ultimate place to escape for adventure, relaxation, and entertaining.

A cluttered and decrepit kitchen is completely transformed into a sleek modern kitchen with a warm farmhouse vibe, including a cozy corner kitchen nook. The room is stripped to the bare bones, and the addition of some new appliances, a blue painted steel backsplash and butcher block shelves and countertops make a junky room functional and beautiful. The addition of new French doors and a window showcase the amazing view, and the application of vintage looking cooking decals make a bright blue wall farmhouse chic. Add in a built in corner bench and photo light box, and the creation of a cozy kitchen nook makes the transformation complete into a Modern Farmhouse Kitchen.

A small dining room is expanded and opened up by merging it with the poorly built addition on the back of the house. The addition had no insulation and unlevel flooring and roofing. A major overhaul of the spaces joined them together to create one large dining space that can be used for entertaining three to ten people. A new roof, matching floors and beams, a new eight foot sliding glass door, and new archways create the foundation for the Italian inspired decor. A faux trellis paint pattern is created on one wall; custom art; a classic extension dining table, and unconventional seating like Director's Chairs make this Tuscan Dining Room feel like it's been part of the house forever.

A large living room with an outdated fireplace gets transformed into an elegant media room. What was an eye sore of a media wall is replaced with a custom L-shaped fireplace mantle, faced with metallic colored porcelain tiles, and a sliding art piece to hide the television. To bring in more light, a wall that divided the living and dining space is opened up and enhanced with backlit clear rods. Plus all new furniture and a homemade birch and treated metal art piece take this room over the top!

An L-shaped living/dining space in need of repair and overtaken by kids toys is reconfigured to accommodate large family gatherings, and give parents and kids their own space. The scratched and rotted hardwood is replaced with a darker engineered wood, a French door is replaced with a slider to maximize space, and an unfinished fireplace becomes an elegant art piece using flagstone and glass tile. Color is a theme in this room and there are big and bold reds and pinks on the walls using wallpaper and metallic paint. A new cork bar and custom bench seating that serves as storage is built to hide the kid toys, is added to a new dining room with seating for 14, perfect for this large family.

A dark and small bedroom is transformed into a light and airy heavenly haven with the addition of large glass doors that open to an outside privacy room complete with water feature and greenery. By covering the ceiling with repurposed and repainted shutters, adding mirrored closet doors, light linen paint treatment and a one of a kind chalkboard art piece, a cozy vintage feel is created from a blank and modern space. The addition of a wooden ladder desk for a workspace make this bedroom multifunctional, as well as a calm and relaxing Heavenly Bedroom Haven.

A loft-like, open feel is given to a dark and outdated family room. The ceiling is demo'd to expose the Douglas fir beams, the carpet is ripped out to show the beautiful concrete, and new porcelain tile re-faces a stone fireplace. Before the room had two awkward bars. One is walled over and turned into a kids space complete with chalkboard paint on the walls and custom felt furniture. The other is built out into a useable L shape design with sink, cabinets, a custom lighting fixture, and bamboo top. The highlight might be the panoramic doors that stretch 16 feet across the room and open up onto the patio. Mid-century modern, minimal furniture turn this room into a sleek family lounge.

A new construction room with white walls, new floors, and lots of clutter, serves as a master bedroom, yoga practice room, and office. A new Zen-like design adds texture, clutter, and organization. Bamboo wallpaper is added to the high ceiling to give it an intimate feel; a pocket door closes off the room from the master bath; a book shelf mounted on barn door hardware adds storage and privacy; and a major closet overhaul gets clothes organized and off the floor. The main features of the room are a four poster canopy bed and one whole wall of copper. With only one desk, room to practice yoga, and new pieces that can be used for storage, this clutter-filled blank slate transforms into a relaxing Zen-inspired retreat.

This dark and cluttered upstairs master bedroom doesn't reflect the homeowners' bohemian and artistic style. By ripping out a dilapidated covered balcony, adding a 10-foot bi-fold door, and building a sustainable open balcony with metal mesh railings allows natural light to pour in and provides views to a lush backyard. Adding a colorful & abstract landscape mural, crochet t-shirt rug, and reclaimed wood doors on a track system help to bring the outdoors in. Placing the bed in the middle of the room with a custom headboard with storage, eliminates the need for extra furniture and makes the space feel bigger and airier.

Space is a problem in this tiny bedroom that resembles a college dorm. To make the room look bigger, the ceiling is opened up and an additional three feet of height is added. New windows, a cantilevered wall, and a sliding glass door bring in more light and highlight the new deck built on the outside. Shelving is built into the walls and around the new custom bed to save space. Hardwood floors replace an old carpet, but fun and unexpected carpet tiles also cover half the floor for extra comfort under the bed. Five colors explode on the walls but still keep the room looking, sleek and modern. It transforms from a dark and cluttered space into a perfect Garden Bedroom that's bright and cozy.
