Sadie Sparks follows the enchanting story of a 14-year-old girl, Sadie, who finds out she has magical abilities and becomes a wizard-in-training, with the guidance and mentorship from a very old and very grumpy rabbit, Gilbert, who is sent to the human world from the Magical Realm to train Sadie and harness her volatile magical skills. Sadie must navigate the challenging world of high school, juggling exams whilst training to be a wizard.
When Sadie and Gilbert are picked to star in the class time capsule film, she is ecstatic! But on the day of filming, she wakes up with a huge spot on her nose. Sadie conjures up a spell to fix it, but it backfires!
When Sadie accidentally casts an acceleration spell on Teepee, he sprints round the track as if he's on fire. The coach is impressed and makes Teepee his new track star! But what happens when the spell begins to wear off?!
The Wardens of Wizardry set a test, pitting Gilbert and Sadie against Blaine and Cornelius in a challenge to create a nocturnal rainbow, from scratch.
Sam invites Sadie to a BBQ. She's super nervous and hopes that for once she can be cool and not her clumsy self. But will she even be able to make it with the Wardens' and her mom's demands?!
Sadie's luck turns when a series of unfortunate events cause her to trip, slip, lose or fall. Val seems to be winning left, right, and centre and Sadie starts to get suspicious.
Miss Lacey gets her class to do a presentation on Egypt. Sadie searches in Gilbert's hat for something to amp up their presentation, and finds a small gilded box. She polishes it and out comes King Ankh, the youngest Pharaoh to rule Egypt.
Sadie finally has the courage to ask Sam to the school dance, but Val beats her to it and asks him instead. Fuming, Sadie devises a plan. She decides to bring the doll Lance Lightning to life and together they head to the dance.
Sadie has been trying to ask Sam out for days, but keeps chickening out. So she decides to make a love potion for Sam.
Covert uses her students to find an 'invisibility' plant. The Wardens instruct Sadie and Gilbert to find the flower and bring it safely back to the magical realm.
At Sadie's school, Gilbert and Cornelius are overheard arguing by Covert. Despite their best attempts to seem like "normal" animals, Covert is convinced that there is magic at play!
Sadie and Gilbert notice something strange about the kids at school... they're all dancing! Their eyes are glazed over and they are acting like zombies. It must be the potion Sadie and Gilbert dumped down the sink!
In physics class, Teepee encourages Sadie to cast a spell on the class clock. But Sadie's spell seems to have affected the whole school – time is still speeding by!
When Val demands a mascot competition because she's certain her pug Prince would be much better, suddenly Gilbert's privileged access to Sadie at school is in danger.
Sadie finds a magic glove that can change any door into a portal! Sadie and her friends play an epic game of Hide and Seek at school... but when they forget to close the door behind them, Coach finds himself in the Covert's office!
Sadie's class camps in the woods. To pass time, they tell ghost stories. After hearing the story "Legend of the Mysterious Cave" Val, Sam, and Doug decide to explore a cave.. that's actually a portal to the magical realm!
As Gilbert nervously prepares for his annual review with the Wardens, Sadie takes care of Selina's boss' rabbit Lollipop. The rabbit takes a liking to Gilbert, annoying him so much that he convinces Sadie to cast a calming spell.
When Gilbert and Sadie get into a squabble in front of the Wardens, they're sent packing with a transformation spell as homework. To make things worse, the Wardens decide to send a magical cat as mentor to Sadie's home.
After a storm, another rift has opened between the human world and the magical realm. The Wardens get Sadie to help seal it, but she insists on bringing her school project, a watermelon "baby", along for the ride.
In the cafeteria one day, Sam stumbles with his tray of food. On a reflex action, Sadie shoots out a spell to stop him falling, which results in Sam and his tray levitating in front of everyone. Will her magic be exposed?
Mordecai decides to put the young wizards to a test, swapping the two mentors with their proteges, so that Gilbert is assigned to Blaine and Cornelius to Sadie.
One morning, a UFO is rumoured to have been spotted in Harmony Woods. Sadie, Gilbert and Teepee head over to check it out.
Embarrassed by Max's failed inventions, Sadie casts a delicious spell on her little brother's hot chocolate stand to kickstart his entrepreneurial career.
Sadie is getting ready to host a small party at her house, but she's nervous that her guests won't enjoy it. She decides to use a new organiser app on her phone, called the Toady Booster, to help her plan the party.
Sadie catches Max snooping around her room and throws him out. At school, students at Harmony High are being turned to stone by a strange shadowy figure, and the Wardens accuse Sadie of unleashing dark magic upon the world.
Sadie and Blaine are in the forest, practising levitation spells, when Zaine, Blaine's older (and super cool) first cousin appears. Zaine offers to help Blaine with some risky magic.
Selina is furious - she's returned home to find that Sadie's cauldron has spat orange goo all over her kitchen. Sadie lies and tells her mum that it was part of a school experiment for Miss Lacey.
Harmony has a big Basketball tournament coming up - with several games over 1-2 days. But Gilbert, who is usually there for the team to touch his head for luck, has an assignment in the magical realm and can't be there.
When Val and the Twins mock Teepee in gym class, Sadie is furious on his behalf and wants to exact magical revenge. Soon after, odd things start to happen everywhere.
Selina has been told by her boss that her on-screen demeanour needs to be more appealing, so Sadie attempts to help her mother with a cheeky spell.
Sadie is super proud when she's asked her to watch over Sam's little brother, Luke, for a couple of hours - she is so mature! Sadie soon comes to discover that Luke is quite the handful!
Sadie and Gilbert are practising boring locking spells when Blaine arrives, boasting that Cornelius is going to allow him access to an ancient book of advanced magic. Sadie begs Gilbert to let her see the book but he refuses.
When Teepee can't get into his locker, Sadie uses magic to open it. But his beloved grandpa's watch was in there - and it's gone! Realising she must have sent it to the Labyrinth - Sadie races off, and returns quickly.
When Sadie and Blaine are challenged by Vincent to master a complicated amplification spell, Blaine decides to use underhand tactics in order to steal an advantage on his rival.
The students gather in the gym to take part in an "interpretive body language" class, run by Ms Lacey and the world famous performer, Anna Catlova. Gilbert is a huge fan of Anna's and Sadie has never seen him so excited.
When Val mocks Sadie's dance audition for the Whatev's latest music video, Sadie's frustration at Val's meanness boils over, and she casts a friendship spell to make her nicer.
While returning a magical item to the Labyrinth, Sadie notices that the Guardian Monster seems a bit low. Sadie can't help give him a pep talk about taking time off and enjoying life.
Sadie and Gilbert find a magical box that has been sent from the magical realm, but are given strict instructions by the Wardens not to open it. Sadie can't resist the temptation to find out what's inside.
Lulu is upset about receiving a bad grade, so Sadie casts a mood elevating spell to help her get over the disappointment. However, the spell goes wrong and soon Lulu's emotions are affecting gravity throughout Harmony High.
Selina and Gilbert are both huge fans of the TV soap drama "Best Frenemies". They're both star-struck when they hear that Sloane Walker, the actor who plays Jerry, is coming to town.
Sadie and the gang are in a baking frenzy - Sadie wants to sell enough cupcakes at the school bake-sale to be able to go on a special field trip, with Sam!
Sadie is desperate to know where they're going on holiday this year, but her Mom wants it to be a surprise. So Sadie performs a truth spell through the TV while her Mom is reporting.
It's Harmony High's annual Treasure Hunt, and Teepee is desperate to win, because Jake has promised the winning team 50 free smoothies, and the right to rename his most popular smoothie!
It's far too cold for smoothies, and Jake is worried about the lack of customers in his smoothie shop. When Coach takes advantage of this to make a cheap offer to buy Jake out, Sadie panics that Sam will move away!
When Sadie catches a cold Selina orders bed-rest, but Sadie is desperate to go to school because she's running for student council. Feeling guilty, Gilbert agrees to undergo a camouflage spell so he'll look like Sadie.
Sadie has two assignments to write – a complicated disappearance spell for the Wardens, and a poem for Miss Lacey's regional poetry competition. As always, she leaves it too late, and it's a mad rush to finish them both on time.
Sadie and Blaine are set a task by the Wardens, they must create a totally original spell. Determined to win, Blaine and Cornelius cast an immaturity spell on Sadie to slow her down, but it misfires and hits Gilbert instead.
Sadie is super excited because today she is finally going on a date with Sam! But the date doesn't go as planned. Sadie was so busy helping other people that Sam ended up talking to Val the entire time! If only she could have a do-over!
It's World Green Day! And Miss Lacey invites students up on to the school stage to tell their green ideas. Sadie urges Melvin to go up, but he's a nervous wreck, and Sadie quickly realises Melvin needs help.
Gilbert and Sadie get into an argument when Gilbert learns, through Cornelius, that she's snuck off to the lake instead of studying her magic at home.
Sadie is overconfident during a fireball training session with Blaine, and accidentally singes Gilbert's tail. When Gilbert loses his temper and rants at Sadie in a fury, it scares her so much she loses her magical mojo.
Lately, Sadie has been noticing moments of uncontrolled magical energy shooting from her hands. She's ignoring it, because today she has plans for her big date with Sam - part two! But when Gilbert tells
Sam is stunned to see a Dragon and Sadie panic spells - freezing him.
