After being hired by Winston Funk to head his charity foundation, Samantha hires Andrea as her Vice President of Legal Affairs. But Sam soon regrets hiring her best friend when Andrea's all-consuming obsession with planning her wedding becomes top priority over her job.
Sam's attempt to plan a new first date with Todd continues getting pre-empted when her boss, Winston, keeps throwing work at her in a effort to rekindle their past romance.
Sam tries to be cordial to Winston Funk's ex-wife Gigi, who played an important role in her life before the accident.
On Andrea's wedding day, Sam finds herself at a crossroads and must choose between being with Winston Funk or Todd. Meanwhile, Regina and Howard discover their lives are beginning to take separate paths.
