Dingleburn is one the South Island's most remote farms and Peter Lyon is assembling a gang that will live and breathe the Dingle until every last sheep has been attended to.
The Branches is one of the most remote stations in Central Otago. The shearers there will earn big bucks, if they can handle the solitude, the weather, and each other.
Pete's gang have an opportunity to hone their skills at prestigious Matangi station, but their shear gets off to an untimely start and the crew spend the rest of the week playing catch-up.
The Brenssell family have farmed Whitecoomb for generations, and this year their mixed breed sheep are being shorn by a very unique gang, led by Andrew, who's been shearing for over 30 years.
There are 1700 wethers at Kawarau Station, all in need of a haircut. Pete sends a first rate gang there, but warm weather and high speed shearers are threatening to overwhelm the wool handlers.
