The majority of the programme is set in a "gentlemen's club for hangmen", although the show is also interspersed with sequences of sketches, often featuring different characters.
Matt attempts to discover the identity of Rich's mother for his own financial gain, will Rich divulge this information or will he keep mum?
Rich tries to humiliate Matt by reading out his diary to the rest of the club.
Matt has supplied Rich with whiskey and women. All he gets in return are interruptions to his punchlines.
The gentlemen's club is plunged into mayhem as Matt and Rich's two brothers visit London.
Rich suffers as Matt reverts to his devilish ways.
