In Stockholm, pregnant pathologist Allie tries everything to prevent her beloved husband and pilot Leo from flying. In Berlin, 25-year-old Linn joins a cult whose members, for a variety of reasons, desperately want to believe in life after death. Meanwhile in a hospital in the middle of Germany, Hanna wakes up after a serious car accident and wonders how her 14-year-old son Jacob managed to save them both from drowning. When, a few days after the accident, Jacob suddenly claims to remember a past life as a pilot of a missing passenger plane, he dramatically changes the fate of the three women. Is he telling the truth?
14-year-old Jacob saves his mother Hanna and other injured people from drowning in a car accident. In Stockholm, pathologist Allie tries to stop her husband Leo from boarding flight 2205.
Hanna is concerned when Jacob claims he has lived before - as the pilot of the missing Flight 2205. Allie is caught in a time warp and Linn places herself in the care of a cult.
During rehearsals for the Flight 2205 crash memorial service, Jacob causes an uproar. Linn is put to the test by the cult community. Allie must make a difficult decision.
Linn says goodbye to her mother with a heavy heart. Jacob is treated by a youth psychologist who believes he is traumatized. Allie begins to accept her situation.
A stranger wants to meet Jacob because he might be able to confirm his story about the crash of Flight 2205. Allie has an accident and Linn discovers what's going on in the cult's rooms.
Linn appears to be preparing for her repatriation. Jacob himself now believes that his supposed past-life memories are part of a traumatic disorder.
Jacob suddenly remembers his entire past life. He decides to call Leo's wife Allie in Stockholm. After Sebastian's cult is exposed, Allie fights for her life.
It's the 15th anniversary of the crash of Flight 2205. Jacob's village comes together for the memorial service and Allie has also come: she finally wants to meet Jacob.
