Set in modern-day Berlin, Spides follows Nora, a young woman who wakes from a coma without any memory of her previous life after taking a mysterious drug; local police detective David Leonhart and his partner Nique Navar are hunting down that drug in relation to dozens of missing teens. When Nora sets out to discover what happened to her, she begins to unravel a conspiracy of aliens who are using a synthetic drug to infiltrate humans to use as host bodies. The more truth Nora uncovers, the more of her own dark secret is revealed: she is the key to the invasion she is fighting.
Nora from Berlin, wakes up from a coma after taking a new party drug and can no longer remember anything. Investigators Nique Navar and David Leonhart find out that numerous teenagers have disappeared as part of the spread of the party drug 'Blis'.
When Nora is attacked on the street, an unexpected development is revealed. David Leonhart finds out that a woman who looks like Nora killed the two Blis dealers
Nora finds out that she has a twin sister named Sara. Is she the killer on the video? But Sara supposedly died many years ago. The conspiracy thickens.
Nora doesn't think her sister is dead and decides to look for her. Marie's brother Luka is set to testify as a key witness against the mafia boss Mitosch. But Mitosh's people track him down.
Nora's eerie visions are becoming ever more intense. She is confirmed in her suspicion that with Dr. Herter something is wrong and is again in danger.
Nora learns first-hand of an extraterrestrial infiltration that has gone very far unnoticed. Is it too late to warn the public?
Mitosch kills the human queen larvae in a secret laboratory. Torsen's scary insect being is beside himself, but there is still a promising candidate for a queen: Nora.
The friends try to stop Nora's transformation to the queen. The Ringers are already gathering to attend the union of the drone and queen.
