Lee Jung In decides to prioritize happiness in her life. She works as a librarian. Her longtime boyfriend is Kwon Gi Suk. He has impressive credentials like a good job as a department head at a bank, wealthy family, handsome and smart. Lee Jung In meets Yoo Ji Ho one fated day after heavy night of drinking with a friend. He is a pharmacist.
Lee Jeong-In one day enters the pharmacy and meets Yoo Ji-Ho. She forgot her wallet which brings them to meet again. And in turn of events, it seems like Yoo Ji-Ho lives an apartment above Lee Jeong-In's friend. Yoo Ji-Ho admits to like her, but she is in a relationship, though not really a happy one, so she proposes for them to be friends. He rejects the offer telling that would be too hard for him. The next day, she goes to a basketball match with her sister and sees Yoo Ji-Ho playing for the team against her boyfriend's team.
Lee Jeong-In and Yoo Ji-Ho decide to be friend. Pressured into marriage, Lee Jeong-In takes a break from her boyfriend.
