Street racing is exploding across the country and taking new form, with racers organizing exhilarating, underground street racing leagues and establishing teams to represent their respective cities. One of those fledgling teams is now featured in Street Outlaws: New Orleans. The series follows a motley crew of street racers in The Big Easy as they band together to prove they are the nation's fastest.
Kye Kelley invites three new drivers to try out for the top-five big-tire list; Kye tries to take the number one spot back from Scott Taylor; Bobby must also defend his top spot against number two, Brandon Smith.
Bobby Ducote shakes up the small-tire list by inviting three new racers to try out; teammates Shane Lester, Travis Santa Cruz and Shannon Poole vow to send any new guys packing; Bobby must defend his top spot against No. 2, Brandon Smith.
Kye wants to call out another top team. The perfect opponent is Houston – featuring James "Birdman" Finney, David "Bird" Jones and "Barefoot Ronnie Pace. The NOLA team barely tied Houston last year, and both sides are craving a rematch.
The New Orleans team seeks bigger competition following its victory over Houston; Kye and the big-tire list head to Texas for Dignight, a single-elimination shootout with the fastest street cars in the country and a prize of over $12,000.

The New Orleans small-tire list gets its second shakeup of the season as Scott, the top big-tire driver, rolls out a small-tire car; Shannon hopes to mount a comeback; Brandon becomes determined to win against Bobby.
Kye accepts a callout from a smack-talking Georgia team; the NOLA crew travels Savannah and meets the crew that features Andy Mac, the old veteran Willy Dog, and team leader Jeff Miller, who drives a pro-mod Camaro called Bumblebee.
Kye wants the number one big-tire spot back from Scott, but Barry calls Kye out first; Bobby organizes a small-tire shootout, bringing top racers from around the country to New Orleans for a single-elimination tournament.
The NOLA racers decide to loosen things up with a crash-up derby, using junker cars towing trailers.
