Strictly Come Dancing celebrates 20 years in the ballroom. Join Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman alongside judges Shirley Ballas, Anton Du Beke, Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse as 15 brand new celebrities are welcomed on to the floor.
Our professional dancers commence the launch show in style with an incredible opening routine, and we celebrate the return of professional dancer Amy Dowden MBE with a show-stopping quickstep.
Current Strictly champions Ellie and Vito make a return for one last go around the floor, and Clean Bandit featuring Anne-Marie perform their new hit Cry Baby in the ballroom.
It's the first live show of Strictly Come Dancing 2024 and our professional dancers open it in style with a fabulously fiery group number.
Join Tess and Claud live from the ballroom as our 15 brand new couples perform their opening routines of the competition. Whilst there's no public vote this week, there will be plenty of paddle action from our judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas.
With no-one going home tonight, the judges' scores will be carried over to next week, when viewers will have their first chance to vote for their favourites.
Tess and Claud welcome our brand new couples back to the dance floor, and while they're all still hoping for high scores from the judges, tonight they are dancing for your votes at home. The judges' scores from the last two weeks will be combined, and at the end of the show, the public vote will open for the first time this series. Who will you be voting for?
