In July 2022, Mölndal is shaken when a dead man is discovered half-undressed, branded and with a tape player placed on his body. The police suspect that something much more disturbing than a simple murder has occurred.

A young man is found dead in a field outside Enköping. At first glance, it looks like he laid down to rest - but when the police examine the body, they discover what is believed to be a gunshot wound.

A family caught in a house fire manages to escape the flames, but everything they own has been reduced to ashes. What at first appears to be an accident turns out to be far more complex.
