The 1990s: The Deadliest Decade

Jonathan Levin, a popular teacher at a Bronx high school, is found dead in his NYC apartment. When police discover he's the son of a wealthy executive, it sets off an explosion of rumors in the press and a massive manhunt for the killer.

In 1992, Allen Schindler, a young American sailor, is beaten to death in Japan. Ten days later, his tattered body returns home, with little information from the Navy. His mother goes on a desperate quest to learn who's behind her son's vicious murder.

Lisa Carlson is found murdered in her own home. It seems robbers surprised her during a moment of sexual self-satisfaction and killed her on the spot. But a closer look reveals that the whole scene was staged, leaving detectives to wonder: by whom?

July 1996: thousands gather at Centennial Park for the Atlanta Olympics when a bomb explodes. Alice Hawthorne is killed and more than 100 others are injured. As the FBI investigates terrorism, they soon find themselves tracking a serial bomber.
