He has been providing mobile veterinarian services for the islands of Maui, Lanai, Molokai, Oahu, the Big Island, and Kauai since 2007. Dr. Bottoms is the vet that Maui Humane Society calls whenever a large animal needs treatment. He never leaves home without his surfboards and his dog, Kevin.
Buckeye performs a pig pedicure, gives a retired rodeo horse a dental exam, and administers emergency care to a dog named Puka.
Dr. Buckeye Bottoms faces trouble when his truck breaks down on Maui.
Buckeye performs emergency surgery, treats a horse's respiratory issue, and shears sheep.
Buckeye's docket includes a dog with an itchy butt, a ram with a leg splint, a sheep castration, and several animals at a new petting zoo.
Buckeye's father, actor Timothy Bottoms, pays a surprise visit and ends up assisting Buckeye on cases including a horse, a donkey and several cows.
Dr. Buckeye Bottoms needs a keen eye, as well as special tools, to help with a diagnosis.
Before they can celebrate Kevin's 6th birthday, Buckeye has a few major cases to work.
