Georgia Aquarium, which plays a crucial role in aquatic conservation throughout the world, opens its doors to global audiences with unprecedented access to the aquatic animals and inner-workings of the Western Hemisphere's largest aquarium. The Aquarium introduces and shares the stories of the amazing animals who call the 10 million gallons of water at the Georgia Aquarium home, including rescued southern sea otters, endangered African penguins, rescued California sea lions, and manta rays, among others.
After eating all his tankmate's food, Tank the hungry sea turtle finds a space to eat in peace. Two beluga whales are welcomed to their new home at the aquarium, and Scarlett the lovable sea lion turns two.
The team is determined to have Gibson the sea otter pup discover his independence as he separates from his pal, Mara. The African penguins head off-site for spring cleaning, and Thor the moray eel proves he's the ultimate escape artist.
The staff becomes concerned when Jupiter, the rescued sea lion is not himself. The Ocean Voyager exhibit awaits its new residents black-blotched Fantail stingray siblings, Bacon and Tomato, and Shelley the shy box turtle makes friends.
The staff becomes concerned when Zola, the beloved African penguin falls mysteriously ill. Later, the aquarium witnesses the annual spawning of an endangered coral species, while Maggie the False Map turtle has a date with the dentist.
A sea lion called Finn has tummy trouble and the team feeds him a snack that will help them investigate why; Big Mama, the guitarfish, may be living up to her name; the boa-duo, Ripley and Ridley, receive a new home.
The African penguin colony greets its newest additions after a successful mating season; sea otter Mara is presented to the rest of the raft, and the bottlenose dolphin population in Florida is examined.
Technology is brought to the aquarium to monitor beluga whale activity; Maggie the small-clawed otter's training kicks in when receiving a shot and Morty the sea star has a checkup after suspicious growths form.
The team is eager to open their new alligator exhibit featuring rare albino gators. Sea otter Gibson is tested for a possible infection, and divers must swim with Taroko the whale shark to get a blood sample.
