Next Episode of The Good Mothers is
not planed. TV Show was canceled.
Based on a true story, The Good Mothers follows the story of Denise, daughter of Lea Garofalo, Maria Concetta Cacciola and Giuseppina Pesce, three women who dared to defy the ‘Ndrangheta mafia. To help them, prosecutor Anna Colace, having just arrived in Calabria, has an intuition: to be able to defeat the ‘Ndrangheta clans, you need to focus on the women. It is a strategy that brings with it great risk: The ‘Ndrangheta is famous and feared for its iron fist and insidious power. The Good Mothers follows Denise, Giuseppina and Maria Concetta in their attempt to free themselves from the criminal power and collaborate with the authorities.
Anna Colace prepares a revolutionary strategy to challenge the ‘Ndrangheta. Lea Garofalo and her daughter Denise reconnect with their husband and father, Carlo Cosco, hoping to reconcile and put an end to their years of living on the run.
Denise is catapulted into an unknown world after a devastating tragedy. Meanwhile, Anna initiates a surveillance operation on the women of the ‘Ndrangheta, focusing on Giuseppina Pesce and Maria Concetta Cacciola.
When migrants whom the Ndrangheta have exploited spill out into the streets to protest their working conditions, Anna makes a risky phone call to accelerate a new phase of her operation. The search for Lea makes significant progress in the meantime.
As the Pesce clan falters after Giuseppina's arrest, Anna turns her attention to another potential witness: Maria Concetta Cacciola. In the meantime, Denise leaves Reggio Calabria to meet an old acquaintance.
Giuseppina's decision to collaborate enables Anna to attack members of the ‘Ndrangheta clans. Her tactics clash with those in the media. Maria Concetta takes matters into her own hands, Giuseppina faces a new challenge.
Anna Colace suffers a setback with Giuseppina. Maria Concetta fights against her new life in isolation and Denise returns to Dalia Masi in order to honour her mother's memory.
