In the hallways, neighbours trade whispered gossip as an investigation takes place, unraveling tensions and long-buried secrets of the residents. Who was the boy? How did he die? Will the lives of the residents ever be the same again? Not everything is as it seems...
The police finally discover Zul's identity and what happened to him on the day he arrived at The Hush. They also manage to locate his only surviving next-of-kin – his mother. Sharifah has to face the consequences of the investigation into her dealings with Daud's company, and her entire career hangs in the balance
