The Inspectors is a dramatic series set in Washington, D.C., inspired by compelling real cases handled by the United States Postal Inspection Service. In the series, Preston Wainwright (Bret Green), a determined teen who is thriving after being paralyzed in a car accident, works as an intern for his U.S. Postal Inspector mom, Amanda (Jessica Lundy), helping to solve crimes ranging from Internet scams, identity and mail theft, to consumer fraud.The Inspectors strives to educate young people about making the right choices in their daily lives, encourages open communication between teens and parents and includes positive messaging regarding living with disabilities, overcoming challenges, beating the odds and the power of perseverance. Also starring in the series are Terry Serpico, Harrison Knight and Erica-Marie Sanchez. The United States Postal Inspection Service, the nation's oldest federal law enforcement agency, will serve as the show's official programming resource.
The inspectors investigate a company that helps inventors patent and market their ideas, promising to help people make millions; Preston worries that his professor's failed relationship with his mother might result in a failing grade for him.
When a no-nonsense science teacher is bitten by a poisonous snake that was sent to her through the mail, the inspectors try to track down the prankster; Veronica feels Preston is getting a little too friendly with the new girl at school.
When a hospital's record system is hacked and held for ransom, the inspectors step in to help with a new tech-savvy member of the team; Veronica auditions as a weather reporter for a local news station.

But why?
The Inspectors are trailing a group of thieves stealing Christmas gifts from unsuspecting victims' front doorsteps. Bah humbug! Meanwhile, Preston, Noah and Veronica volunteer at the "Letters to Santa" program and find a mysterious letter from 1962. They vow to track down the sender and deliver a Christmas surprise.
The Inspectors are on the hunt for a cat-fishing perp targeting teen girls online. With the case on his mind, Mitch worries that his niece, Sam, might be next. The whole Inspectors family comes together as Mitch races to stop Sam from meeting her new "friend" in person.
Amanda and Georgia investigate a series of Post Office collection box break-ins with visiting Inspector Eric Lin. Meanwhile, Preston, Veronica, and Noah are on the hunt to find a band to play at the Henry Wainwright Foundation's inaugural event. But things don't go as planned, and they have to road-trip to find the band and talk face-to-face.
When a teddy bear filled with narcotics is stopped at the post office, Amanda and visiting Inspector Eric Lin decide to run a controlled delivery to catch the criminal in the act. To their surprise the package was delivered to Chloe Robinson, a stay-at-home mom with no criminal history. The Inspectors aren't sure if she can be trusted, but they enlist Chloe's help to catch the bad guys. Meanwhile, a school-wide "meme" competition is consuming Preston and Noah. So much so, that Preston's creation becomes the root of a fight between Preston and Veronica.
The conductor of an opera receives a threatening letter in the mail demanding the show shut down. If not, their first performance could be their last! Meanwhile, Preston and Veronica struggle to decide what to get each other for Valentine's Day, causing them to question their relationship.
When an international scammer resurfaces, Mitch and Amanda are on the case in Jamaica…but can they find the scammer before he leaves the island? Meanwhile, it's the annual canned food drive, and Veronica learns the effects of the competitive spirit when she pits Preston and Noah against one another over who can collect the most donations before the big game.
An over-the-hill actress and a shifty for-profit college administrator team up to swindle students who are looking for a career in the arts, and Noah is one of those students! With his ambitions still set on film making, Noah is set on dropping out of Jamestown and enrolling into this "school." The Inspectors and Preston step in to save their friend.
Preston is house-sitting for his uncle in NYC, and his investigative mind starts to wander when he notices some suspicious activity in the office building across the street. Meanwhile, Amanda works on a high profile check washing scam in the Big Apple.
When Veronica's grandmother becomes a victim of a foreign lottery scam, the Inspectors step in to help. But Veronica worries that her family may be facing another challenge when her grandmother continues to believe that big winnings are on the way.
The Inspectors investigate a synthetic opioid case when one of their own accidentally comes into contact with a dangerous substance. Meanwhile, Veronica is worried about an upcoming chemistry exam, and her study partner offers her a boost that he thinks could help.
A journalist at a newspaper receives a ransom letter in the mail stating that the editor has been kidnapped. The Inspectors are on the case! Meanwhile, Veronica clashes with her JU news producer about the type of stories they should report.
A witness to a bank robbery receives threatening letters in the mail and the Inspectors investigate to find the culprit. Meanwhile, Veronica and Noah are contestants on a college game show to determine who knows Preston more.

A criminal is set free after new evidence in a cold-case, and Amanda investigates. Meanwhile, Preston is on the honor council at Jamestown University and has to determine whether a student is eligible for suspension… then finds out it is someone he knows personally.
It's all hands on deck as the Inspectors head down to the coast to help out with hurricane recovery. Preston, Noah, and Veronica join the efforts and volunteer in the emergency shelter. While there, Preston is pushed to his limit when he ventures off alone to find a missing girl.
Preston locates the missing girl, but is forced to weather the storm until help arrives. Meanwhile, Noah and Veronica help the Inspectors carry out their rescue mission.
