In what ended up as a spoof on the spy genre, a team of secret agents battling the global crime organization THRUSH. Under the aegis of the United Network Command for Law and Enforcement (U.N.C.L.E.), the dapper, suave Napoleon Solo and the equally dashing Illya Kuryakin jet to exotic locations, defending the world from evil, chaos, and bad taste. The premise of most episodes revolved around the involvement of an "innocent": a non-spy caught up in the conflict between U.N.C.L.E. and their rival organization, Thrush.Premiering in 1964, this successful series also starred Leo G. Carroll as Alexander Waverly and featured guest stars such as William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy, Kurt Russell as a young stowaway marked for murder, Ricardo Montalban and longtime comedy favorite Ken Murray. From trying to save the world from fear gas to trying to save themselves from a pack of bloodthirsty cheetahs, this spoof brings the spy game to life with vigor and vibrancy.
Just before the U.N.C.L.E. Summit-Five meeting when the regional leaders gather to activate new communication codes, an agent turns up dead... and Napoleon is seemingly the killer.
Napoleon and Illya try to stop Thrush's "perfect assassin," who has been trained to shut off his emotions and do whatever is necessary to complete his mission.
Thrush is working with someone within the Tenza industrial empire to assassinate father Mark Tenza and his son Adam.
Illya and master safecracker Luther Sebastian infiltrate the laboratory of Dr. Kharmusi to steal a thermal prism, while Napoleon distracts the creator. However, the girlfriend of a man Lucius framed for murder is out for revenge.
Luther gains the thermal prism and plans to hijack a U.S. rocket to launch it into orbit as a blackmail weapon.
Pharos Mandor, a former Thrush director, plays Thrush off against U.N.C.L.E. by pretending to defect and provide U.N.C.L.E. with inside information... that discredits his rivals in Thrush.
The owner of a Caribbean casino, secretly a Thrush operative, uses the casino to brainwash his organization's enemies... and Illya is the next target.
A former adversary, believed dead, abducts Illya and uses him as bait to lure Napoleon into a deadly game of cat & mouse in an abandoned block of buildings in New York City.
Napoleon and Illya must protect the charismatic female leader of a South American company from an organization work for Thrush that mean to see her out of office... one way or another.
Illya goes on a solo mission to an isolated U.N.C.L.E. training school to find out who in attendance is a Thrush mole.
Napoleon and Illya go after a missing Nazi scientist, and discover that Thrush wants him because he can develop a mind-control ray\ for them.
With the help of a local U.N.C.L.E. agent, Napoleon infiltrates a Greek island that serves as a Thrush base of operations.
Thrush sets up an elaborate trap to obtain a molecutronic gun from a scientist, stealing it from under U.N.C.L.E.'s noses... or so U.N.C.L.E. think.
A British U.N.C.L.E. agent is getting married. However, a Thrush commander, Koehler, kidnaps the man's fiancee and forces him to steal the plans for a supersubmarine.
U.N.C.L.E. official Robert Kingsley disappears, intending to conquer the world for good by using a docility gas. He's unaware that Thrush is using his wife to betray him.
With time running out, Napoleon and Illya face a firing squad when they fail to convince the "Seven Wonders" to turn against Kingsley and Thrush.
