The Olivier Awards is an annual awards ceremony that is widely recognised as the most prestigious stage honours event on the UK calendar.The awards are given to individuals involved in West End productions and other leading non-commercial theatres based in London across a range of categories covering plays, musicals, dance, opera and affiliate theatre.
The Society of London Theatre honours top theatrical talent at this year's awards ceremony, taking place at the Albery theatre.The evening features highlights from shows including the hit-musical Chicago, which is nominated in seven award categories, Popcorn, The Front Page and Beauty and the Beast.
