Stacey Dooley visits practices around the UK to see how vets Cat, James, Rory and Cheryl care for our furry friends.
Cheryl operates on first-time mum Perry, the pregnant bulldog, to save her unborn pups. Cat checks out Pickle the guinea pig, who's had a crash landing, Rory helps Oskar the cat, who's been bitten by a rat and it's 'bring your pet to work day' for James and the gang - who are all on their best model behaviour.
Cat helps a young cygnet who's in serious trouble after swallowing some fishing wire, Cheryl performs a tricky operation on one of her favourite patients, Bambi the pomeranian and vet James is left reaching for the sick bag after dealing with cat Reggie, who has a pongy problem!
Cheryl treats a black cat called BamBam who's down on his luck, Oscar the greedy french bulldog puppy gets some urgent help from Cat after eating chewing gum. And old dog, Monty the staffy, teaches Rory some new tricks.
Cat is given the run-a-round by a herd of grumpy alpacas at a local animal park, James finds the root of Diego the chihuahua's painful tooth problem, and Cheryl's happy to get a visit from one of her favourite patients, Jabba the pug - but he's not quite as happy to see her!
James performs a risky eye operation on an old labrador called Charlie, Rory helps Frankie the miniature sausage dog who's having trouble with his long floppy ears and Cheryl has a testing time with vet nurse Sara's house full of cats.
Cat goes on a hunt for a mystery object stuck in Bonnie the greedy labrador's mouth, Rory performs a risky operation to remove a huge growth from Chas the chihuahua and James gets to grips with a feisty old feline called Fifi.
Rory tackles a tricky operation on a greedy cat called Barry, who has bitten off more than he can chew. Cat helps Reggie the rat who's feeling under the weather, while Cheryl carries out life-changing facial surgery on Charm, a beautiful bull mastiff.
James performs major surgery to provide much-needed relief to a beautiful bichon, who has stones blocking up her bladder. Rory helps a flighty budgie get a much better grip on things and Cat treats her old friend Storm the border collie cross, who's growing up fast and needs some help with her hormones.
Rory performs a delicate operation on a dwarf hamster with a giant problem. Cheryl checks out two not-so-fluffy kittens on their first visit to the vet. And James carries out emergency surgery on a whippet with a mystery injury.
Cat fixes a boisterous staffie's poorly ear with some unusual accessories. Cheryl helps an abandoned kitten found trapped on a railway line. And James is put through his paces by a splash-happy patient, when he tries his hand at hydro-therapy.
Cheryl swaps the vet clinic for a day at a conservation centre, helping the team with some poorly, urban foxes. Cat performs surgery on old girl Sadie to give her a new lease of life. And Rory takes a closer look at a much loved guinea pig with a very sore eye.
Rory performs some tricky surgery on Poppy the bassett hound's eye problem. James has a splashy session with cheeky chappie Marley, who has a few uninvited friends living on his skin. And Cheryl calls in the reinforcements to treat a big cat with a very sore foot.
The pressure is on for Cheryl to get golden oldie Tinka through some serious surgery and remove several worrying lumps. James treats a skink who's developed a sniffle. And Cat checks out Willow, the superhero lab who's on a mission to help a very special little boy.
James sees super-sized bunny Mr Grey, who has a nasty lump on his nose. Cheryl helps Kyru, a cane corso with an eye-poppingly big problem. And Rory struggles to make friends with a nervous corgi pup who's been feeling under the weather.
James deals with great dane Luther, who's too boisterous for his own good. Rory has a day out of the practice to help farmer Tom treat with some patients who are 'mutton but trouble'. And Cat has all the right moves to help a beautiful beagle get her bounce back.
