As each item is painstakingly restored, we hear the personal stories behind the heirloom and why it's so cherished by the family.
Jeweller Erin turns her talents to a fire damaged necklace; horologist Andrew tests his skills a clock that hasn't chimed for 60 years; and electrical technician Paul gets an antique train-set back on track.
Metal worker Majella restores a rare leather shoe sewing machine; electrical technician Paul brings an Edison Voice Recorder back from the brink; and furniture restorer Britta resurrects a headless rocking horse.

Jeweller Erin has her work cut out restoring a prized diamond Eternity ring; a World War 2 Gurkha knife tests Craftsman Aaron's leather skills; and repair all-rounder Paul rebuilds a late 19th Century 3D slide viewer.
The team restore a toy truck that survived the 2007 Newcastle floods; a bird cage clock that needs horologist Andrew's expertise; and a delicate sewing machine that has survived within the family for four generations.
Upholster Britta refurbishes an immigrant steamer trunk; horologist Andrew is challenged to put the tick-tock back in a century old heirloom pocket watch; and metalworker Majella is tasked with restoring a vintage pedal car.
