not planed. TV Show was canceled.
Comedy series about a prospector, Lucius "Luke" Carpenter, who thaws out after having been frozen solid in a glacier for 67 years. Monte Markham stars in dual roles.
The opening intro sums up the story:
Once upon a time out there in California, a 67-year-old man lived with his 33-year-old son. Meanwhile, up there in the banks of Alaska there was this big avalanche. See the connection? Get out.
Col Garroway: 'Two days ago there was an avalanche in Alaska a frozen man was discovered that has been identified as your father."
Edwin: "After all these years."
Col Garroway: "Mr Carpenter, there's something I haven't told you" Edwin: "I'd like to bring his body back here."
Col Garroway: "Your father's alive."
Edwin: "Alive?"
Col Garroway: "Whatever your father may be chronologically physically and mentally hasn't aged a day since he fell on hibernation. Your father for all intended purposes is 33 years old."
Luke: Not bad for a 101. Look not a day older than 90."
Edwin: "What are you doing on the floor?"
Luke: "Playing with my grandson"
