The Toy Box is the ultimate toy-competition series, providing talented designers with the chance of a lifetime: an opportunity to bring their toy concept to life. Hosted by Eric Stonestreet, the toys - and their inventors - are put through a series of trials and tests before facing the ultimate judges - a panel of no-nonsense, toy-loving kids.
Amateur inventors enthusiastically present their toys to a panel of kid judges. This week's inventions include: A light-up Frisbee that changes colors when you play with it; a portable, collapsible dollhouse; a collection of wooden robot craft kits; a competitive tower building game; and a board game where players race to be the first to complete a campground-inspired obstacle course.
Amateur inventors enthusiastically present their toys to a panel of kid judges. This week's inventions include: a competitive throwing game with collectible cards; a cross between a skateboard and inline skates; finger puppet kits; tiny stuffed animals filled with clay; and a new take on "rock, paper, scissors."
The panel of kid judges have to choose between a barnyard-themed board game, a racquetball version of boxing, a set of animal-inspired accessories, and a set of educational cards as passionate toymakers share their inventions.
The finalists from each episode return, and the young judges decide who wins the $100,000 prize, and will have their toy made by Mattel and sold exclusively at Toys"R"Us.
