Who's the toughest in the house? The Ultimate Fighter finds out as mixed martial arts fighters battle it out for a six-figure UFC contract. With two of the top UFC fighters as coaches, contestants will try to kick and punch their way to dominance and to prove who is The Ultimate Fighter.
The "Redemption" series was officially announced by the UFC on January 15, 2017 during the UFC Fight Night: Rodríguez vs. Penn broadcast. Current UFC Bantamweight Champion Cody Garbrandt will be coaching opposite former champion T.J. Dillashaw. Both of them are former training partners. As the twenty-fifth season of the American entries of the series, the producers have opted to bring back previous participants from the previous seasons.
Four welterweights compete for the remaining semifinal spots in two thrilling back-to-back fights. Also: the animosity between the coaches goes too far at the weigh-ins; Dana White determines the semifinal matchups.
