The fascination with lost treasures has captured mankind's curiosity for centuries, and new evidence and research have led many across the globe in the quest for vast riches. Do the lucrative spoils of the legendary pirate Blackbeard lay buried on an island off the North Carolina coast? And can a lost cache of gold and silver ever be recovered from the deadly Superstition Mountains? Will we finally solve the Beale Cypher, and crack open the hidden vault revealing his hidden fortune?

Believers have researched texts and studied histories throughout centuries, not only to strengthen their faith, but to find deeper meanings and profound answers to existence itself. Can we separate what is fact from stories or fiction within religious manuscripts? Many believe in hidden relics–like the lost bones of Saints and the Temple Menorah–and ask if they have a certain divine power. Can we prove that the devastating plagues of Egypt and the miraculous parting of the Red Sea actually occurred?

Is the presence of evil real? While many believe that there is some darkness in our world, is it a malevolent being like the Devil? Or does it emanate from strange locations–like the Cecil Hotel–where murders and suicides have occurred for nearly 100 years? Perhaps evil is something that tempts humanity, or a feeling that invades us when we are fearful or confused. Is it possible that humans themselves draw dark entities and ghoulish presences out of hiding? Well, that is what we will try and find out.

Throughout human history, how we treat the dead has been as important as how we treat the living, and questions of both death and the afterlife have been at the heart of every known culture. Does how we die ? and how we're buried ? affect what happens to the soul? Is there another chapter or next plane of existence after we die? And can a human soul be reborn in another body?
