For the first time Guy Fieri is heading back to some of his all-time favorite Diners, Drive-ins and Dives spots on Triple D Nation. On this all-new spin on DDD, Guy checks in on some of the most memorable joints he has previously visited to see how they have been doing, and to get a taste of some of the new and classic recipes they are dishing out. Whether they have opened new locations, expanded their old ones, or added to their menus, these restaurants are always pushing the boundaries of their culinary comfort zone.
This trip, Guy Fieri's checkin' in with some of the funkiest Flavortown tastemakers. First, a wicked-good waffle spot in Syracuse, N.Y., moved to a bigger downtown location, still crankin' the tunes and plating new knockouts like the-bomb bulgogi and real-deal Reuben waffles. Next, an Allston, Mass., joint is still bringing mega Mexican flavors to New England with top-shelf seafood and gourmet mushroom asada on scratch-made tortillas. And in Minneapolis, the home of the "Blucy" expanded to two brick-and-mortars, stuffin' their signature patties with ghost pepper cheese, then topping tots with killer queso and mojo pork.
This trip, Guy Fieri's catchin' up with some top Italian, mega Mexican and verifiable vegan eateries! A mom-and-pop taco spot in Phoenix isn't slowing down anytime soon, now at multiple locations and still serving a taste of Chihuahua with lights-out lengua and beefed-up gorditas. Then, in Boston, real-deal Italian is going strong, plating craveable faves like a marinated steak tip sandwich and next-level eggplant parm. Plus, a not-your-typical butcher is bringing even more "meatless" to the Minneapolis masses, puttin' their plant-based stamp on a huli-huli rib panini and the-bomb bacon brat.

A family-run Lebanese eatery in Minneapolis is going strong, plating up generational faves like a lights-out lamb shank and off-the-hook cabbage roll combo. Then, a DDD O.G. in Venice Beach, Calif., has renovated and expanded, still crankin' out their signature So-Cal BBQ fusion with mighty Memphis ribs and some serious smoked wings. And in Falmouth, Mass., a coastal kitchen puttin' a spotlight on pickles has added a rockin' roast beef sammie and a prime-time pastrami-spiced salmon wrap to the roster.
