Trisha Yearwood is being honored at the ASCAP awards show and needs a day of eating light get ready! She starts the day with a Peanut Butter and Banana Breakfast Smoothie, then heads to her wardrobe fitting with a snack of Whipped Sweet Potatoes. For a light lunch, she prepares her trainer Billie's Houdini Chicken Salad with Homemade Herbed Crackers. After the awards, Trisha indulges in a decadent Chicken Salad, Avocado and Cheddar Panini and a quick Chocolate Cake in a Mug.
Trisha Yearwood takes a day trip to Memphis to visit Graceland and other Elvis haunts with her friend, Julie. After, they pay homage to Elvis in the kitchen with a Banana Pancake Sandwich filled with Peanut Butter Maple Syrup Spread. Still inspired by their trip, they also make Tamale-Style Pulled Pork and an indulgent Vanilla Milkshake with white chocolate and peanut-covered straws.
Trisha Yearwood has a busy week and needs to plan ahead to stay fueled up. For breakfast, she makes a hearty Spinach Frittata, then takes a few minutes to prep a light but satisfying late-night dinner for when she gets home: Roasted Beet Salad and a Black Bean, Feta and Quinoa Bowl. Then, she makes a versatile Slow Cooker Beef Brisket to create a variety of meals with for the rest of the week.
Trisha Yearwood invites her favorite gals over for an evening around the campfire, complete with karaoke! Then, a manly riff on Pigs in a Blanket, hearty Cornbread-Chili Casserole and Quick Chocolate Chip Cookies.
The Nashville restaurant scene has exploded, and one of the town's favorites is a place called Biscuit Love. Trisha Yearwood takes her sister, Beth, to sample some of their most popular dishes. Then, they give those flavors a twist at home, making Hot Chicken on Trisha's Angel Biscuit with Mama's White Gravy, Biscuit Waffles with Lemon Cream, an Oatmeal Biscuit with Apple Yogurt, and Creamy Grits with Tomato Gravy and Greens.
On tour, Trisha Yearwood's husband, Garth, celebrated her birthday in a big way. Now, at home, her birthday wish is to spend a quiet day with him doing the cooking! Garth makes Double French Toast for breakfast, and then for lunch, a romantic Chicken Alfredo dish and a salad with Creamy Feta Dressing. To finish off the meal, he makes Trisha's favorite Double-Stuffed Brownies.
Trisha Yearwood gives singer Reba McEntire a tour of her exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame, and after, they whip up a down-home dinner of bacon-wrapped Turkey Meatloaf, Brussels Sprouts with Dried Cranberries and Almonds, Sweet Potato, Apple and Leek Casserole, and Kyle's Lemon Pound Cake with Reba's Royal Glaze, inspired by Reba's favorite cocktail.
Trisha Yearwood makes a hearty breakfast for her friend, Glenda, in her cherished cast iron pan: Hash Browns with Cheesy Eggs and Avocado. Then, they go antiquing to buy Glenda her very own pan, and Trisha shows Glenda how to restore and care for it. To demonstrate how the pan can be used for both savory and sweet, Trisha prepares Country Ham Carbonara and Buttermilk Strawberry Skillet Cake with Whipped Cream and Sugared Pecans.
Trisha Yearwood and her sister, Beth, make a barbecue, or "Barbie Q" feast while reminiscing about their days playing with Barbies. There's Barbie-Q Chicken Sliders with sweet and spicy Quickles, a quick Coleslaw, Smashed Potato Salad and mini Key Lime Cheesecakes.
Trisha Yearwood invites her friend and Cupcake Wars winner, Chloe Coscarelli, over to swap recipe ideas for healthier eating. First, they enjoy Trisha's Avocado Pesto Toast with a lightened-up Tomato Bisque, then Chloe makes a Black-Eyed Pea Stew and a healthier take on Quick Buttery Biscuits with Maple Butter. For dessert, they enjoy Chloe's Lemon Olive Oil Cupcakes with Coconut Whipped Cream.
Trisha Yearwood and her family volunteer on a Habitat for Humanity build, and Trisha offers to feed the crew out of a food truck. She makes Ham and Pimento Cheese Biscuit Sandwiches, Baked Potato Soup, Taco-Stuffed Potato Skins and Chocolate Fudge Chip Cookies for the crew lunch.
Trisha Yearwood gets inspiration for new dishes while on tour in Milwaukee. She'll recreate the famous Midwestern Butter Burger with ale-infused Cheese Sauce, Pretzel-Crusted Fried Cheese with Spicy Ranch Dipping Sauce, a Deep-Dish Pecan Pie, and one of Wisconsin's favorite cocktails, the Old Fashioned -- all with a Trisha twist!
