As a how-to show dedicated exclusively to trucks, 4x4s and SUV's, Truck U (formally Truck Universe) finds monster-truck expert Matt Steele and master mechanic Bruno Massel involved in hands-on projects crucial to serious off-roading and truck performance. Ideal for reaching the flourishing truck, 4×4, SUV, sport-compact truck and off-road audiences.
It's all about new looks this season, and on Truck U we've got plenty. We give a C10 a new slimmer look by cutting the fat. Bruno checks out some of the sights and sounds out at the SEMA show, and we put some final touches on the newly renovated shop.
New Broncos may still be hard to find, but they're making their way to a street near you. Even with a brand-new vehicle, there are still annoying things that you don't need and can get rid of to enhance your driving experience even more. We'll make this Bronco easier to drive and give it more style.
A lot of hotshot drivers turn to a Ram to haul heavy loads across the country. This Ram truck may not be the prettiest, but it's still got many more miles left in the tank. We'll fix some worn components under the hood and chassis, then set our sights on a C10 that's in need of a few final touches on the interior.
We build many types of vehicles for every situation, but today, this Jeep is getting built to do exactly what it was designed for, and that's to hit the trails. We will lift it up and set it on some good wheels and tires, make sure the drivetrain is up to the task, and give the owner some storage for out on the trails.
We love customizing trucks, but it's not every day we get to slam one. This Harley-Davidson Edition F-150 is getting a full air bag suspension. First, we take care of some worn suspension items before we flip the switch and put it in the weeds.
We love square-body C10s, and this truck is no exception. It already looks great, and we plan on making it even better. We address the old window track with an upgraded one-piece window and give it a better fuel system with an EFI. Then, the guys head out on a boat. What could possibly go wrong?
Trucks are meant to pull, but this truck, that's all it does. When sled pulling is life, there are areas of a truck you should focus on, and today that is what we will do -- a little appearance and a whole lot of strength so it can go the full distance.
Diesels are getting more and more expensive to own, and that's exactly why this owner opted for this gas-version Super Duty. The truck and the toy it pulls will get accessorized and upgraded today on Truck U.
The owner of this new snazzberry Gladiator just took delivery, and now he wants to make it his own. Staring at it sitting in his driveway, he has made a wish list of parts, and today we are going to check a few of those items off his list.
Going over rough terrain at high speeds is quite the adrenaline rush, and that's why the owner of a Tacoma wants it set up to do just that. Starting with an extreme suspension, the guys work the truck over to do one thing: go full speed through the desert.
The shop is once again filled with a backlog of projects. Today, the guys tackle a death wobble on a Ford Super duty, outfit a 4Runner for product training, and finish off an F-150 project with a new bedliner.
Everyone loves a good tailgate party, but you can't be showing up in a stock truck. The guys make sure this truck looks right so everyone knows where the party is at, with a little lift, some aggressive tires and accessories galore.
Where do you start when deciding on a vehicle to build for an overland adventure? New trucks are expensive, so that's why the guys start with a reasonably priced, brand-new Ford Maverick. Lift, tires, bedcover, racks and more will be what it takes to get this little Maverick overland ready.
