Next Episode of Tschugger is
unknown.
It centers on a headquarters of the Valais cantonal police. Their work is usually confined to contemplative trifles: runaway sheep, recalcitrant traffic offenders and presence at village festivals. But suddenly, an unbelievable murder attempt wakes the police officers from their deep sleep. Finally something is happening. But before the Tschugger (dialect for "policemen") can jump on the case, the federal police officer Annette is already ready and takes over. The local police chief, Biffiger, appears cooperative on the surface, but his heart beats for his police station, and he knows from experience that not everything from Bern can be trusted. The mismatched Tschugger duo Bax, the wannabe cowboy, and Pirmin, the phlegmatic one, investigate parallel to the federal police officer and use the home advantage. "Tschugger" is a comedy caught between exaggerated boredom, village festival charm, dramatic depth, explosive pseudoaction and raclette smell.
Bax needs some distance from Valais and is trying to get back on his feet in Bern. However, he longs for Annette. Full-time father Pirmin is on the trail of a murder disguised as suicide. Thanks to a successful producer, Valmira is on the verge of a breakthrough. But there is a catch.
After the traumatizing experiences during his rescue from Valais, Bax not only said goodbye to the police service, but also to his home canton. In the beautiful city of Bern he tries to get back on his feet. He seems to be succeeding quite well. He found new friends in a therapy group. He earns his living running a bicycle smoothie stand in Bern. He longs for a date with federal police officer Annette, who suddenly appears in front of him one day. Does Bax take the decisive step and confess his feelings?
A lot has changed in Valais: the Swiss-German Upper Valais police station has merged with the French Lower Valais police station. Pirmin himself is no longer a Tschugger, but a full-time father. He, his wife Regina and their son Benjamin have just moved into the villa of the murdered father-in-law, police chief Biffiger, when notary Von Roten calls excitedly: A mysterious document about Biffiger's inheritance has appeared, Regina and Pirmin should come over immediately. When the couple arrive at the notary's office, they find Von Roten hanged. The police draw a clear conclusion: it was suicide. Pirmin does not agree with this at all. The notary's death awakens his criminal instincts. Pirmin throws himself into the investigation.
Valmira and Juni believe in a career move - thanks to successful producers Romi and Claudi from RoCla Records. They have already worked with superstars. There's just one catch: contacts, promotion and marketing cost a lot of money. RoCla Records will invest part of it, the other half will be provided by Juni and Valmira. The two quickly come up with an idea of how to do it.
With his murder investigations, Pirmin bites the dust everywhere - including with Bax. He wants to save his colleague Julie from dating scammers. He is also confronted with a tragedy that threatens to throw him off track. And the bankrupt Fricker sends workers into a deadly trap.
Pirmin goes to Bax in Bern and bursts into his therapy group. With Bax's support, Pirmin wants to prove that the notary did not commit suicide, but was killed. But Bax doesn't want to know anything about it. Disappointed, Pirmin returns to Valais and learns from Dr. Schmidhalter that the notary was really poisoned. In addition, a mysterious key turned up during the autopsy - yes, another key. Pirmin tries to convince the French Tschugger that there is something fishy about the case, but is only laughed at and rejected. Later, the two dubious French Flics stop him and intimidate him. Where should Pirmin get help? Federal police officer Annette is also on the trail of something again.
Bax is faced with a tough problem himself: Julie, a colleague from the therapy group, has found an admirer on the Internet with a tragic family history - the admirer's son is suffering from a terrible illness and needs money immediately for expensive emergency surgery. When Julie shows Bax the dating photo, this Romeo strangely looks extremely familiar. Bax and Stöffu – another therapy colleague – want to hunt down the fraudsters with a sophisticated operation. But Julie, blinded by love, threatens to sabotage the action. A completely unexpected tragedy threatens to throw Bax off course.
Construction contractor Fricker is facing bankruptcy and can no longer pay wages. The workers storm the villa. To get out of trouble, Fricker shows his workers where a treasure of gold is hidden.
Bax is suspected of murder. Bax and Juni manage to escape during a prisoner transport. They end up in a godforsaken wilderness - with no water and no chance. Pirmin has to dispose of a corpse for Regina. And fraudster Valmira realizes that she herself has fallen victim to fraudsters.
Bax is suspected of murder. Together with the arrested June, he is to be taken to Valais on a prisoner transport. But a blessing in disguise: the accompanying police officer turns out to be a huge fan of Bax. Apparently he's been a bit of a star since he saved Valais in season 2. He knows the truth and doesn't believe in the story of the hot tub in Sierre. The officer lets Bax and Juni run in the middle of the Valais wilderness. This is where the problems really begin: Far from civilization, without water and chased by wolves, Juni and Bax find themselves in an existential crisis. At the same time, the French police put together a large contingent to find the two escapees.
Pirmin's wife Regina shot a burglar - with a silencer pistol. Pirmin has no choice but to load the body into the trunk and dispose of it somewhere. What Pirmin doesn't know: His wife and the new nanny apparently share a common secret. And apparently Regina speaks Arabic. Pirmin and the body end up in a traffic stop that Ida is carrying out for the traffic students - a hopeless situation.
Valmira brings music producers Romi and Claudi the money they asked for. But she is not at all convinced by their ideas. She realizes that she's dealing with huge idiots. She demands her money back. But the music producers don't want to know anything about it.
Bax and Co. come across Smetterling in the Pfynwald, where he has gone into hiding and is active as a mafia hunter. When the mafia shows up, there is a big showdown in the Pfynwald. What the Tschuggers don't know: The criminals have Valmira in their power.
June reveals to Bax and Pirmin where Butterfly is hiding from the mafia. As a paranoid prepper, he lives in seclusion in the Pfynwald, but can defend himself against all external threats. They ask Butterfly to assist them in their investigation. But he refuses. Bax has to show a new side of himself to convince Butterfly.
Valmira is dissatisfied with Romi and Claudi's music management - so she is unable to progress with her career. She demands her money back. But with this she is biting the stones with both of them. That's why she asks construction lion Fricker for support. But he has his own worries: He has the mafia in the house who are looking for Butterfly. They want to take him to task for the death of family members. They kidnap Valmira and take her to the Pfynwald. There is a big showdown with Butterfly, Bax & Co.
A race against time begins: Bax and his colleagues have received unmistakable clues as to how they can solve the mystery surrounding the mysterious key. The tracks lead them to a cemetery, where they start a macabre operation. But what the Tschuggers don't know is that two dubious French Flics are hot on their heels. And they are at least as dangerous as the mafia.
Valmira lures the mafia into an ambush - with fatal consequences. And in order to solve the double murder, the Tschuggers penetrate the heart of the Swiss intelligence service. Pirmin's son Benjamin plays an important role. But the dubious Flics are hot on the Tschuggern's heels.
Valmira and Juni spent a wonderful, if uncomfortable, night together in the car. But the idyll is soon over: they are being pursued by the mafia, who want to get their hands on them. The clever Valmira takes advantage of their thirst for revenge to take revenge on the fraudulent music producers. She lures the mafiosi into their office - which has fatal consequences.
Thanks to political help from the top, Bax, Smetterling and Pirmin are able to free themselves from the clutches of the dubious Flics. The Tschuggers head to the intelligence service in Bern to investigate the murdered Biffiger's involvement in dark, state-threatening machinations. But the federal building resembles a fortress. How are the Tschuggers supposed to get in there?
What makes things even more difficult is that Pirmin is now having his daddy's day - he's taking little Benjamin with him to Bern. Bax finds this excessive: the kid is endangering the whole operation. But Benjamin's qualities turn out to be a blessing. Thanks to his Tom Cruise qualities, the Tschuggers take a decisive step further. But the biggest hurdle is yet to come: the dubious Flics are hot on the Tschuggern's heels. At the heart of the Swiss intelligence service there is a big finale between good and evil.
