Wahlburgers is a reality television series on the A&E network in the United States that debuted on January 22, 2014. Donnie creates a virtual reality experience of the Hingham Wahlburgers to give customers a taste of the atmosphere. Elsewhere: Mark introduces Drama to an up and coming Boston rapper.
Mark heads to Detroit to help a new location launch successfully and Donnie and Paul scout downtown Chicago for a new restaurant, but Donnie tricks Paul into teaching a cooking class. Later: Mark enlists Paul for manager training in Detroit.
Donnie takes Bob and Oscar to scout a potential Wahlburgers location in St. Charles, Ill., and pulls out all the stops to convince Oscar to make Chicago his college town; Mark flies to Toronto for the premiere of his film "Deepwater Horizon''.
Paul organizes a burger-eating contest at the Coney Island Wahlburgers to coincide with Donnie throwing out the ceremonial first pitch at a Brooklyn Cyclones baseball game; Bob's daughter asks him about their family heritage for a school project.
Mark meets Paul in Scotland and informs Paul that he's offered up his chef services to Lady Hopetoun and her guests at her family's palatial estate. Paul navigates the winding roads of the Scottish countryside and experiences the culture when he interacts with the locals at a traditional tavern before putting on the feast. When Alma learns that she must take the driver's test again in order to renew her license because she is turning 75, Bob offers to help prepare her for the test.
While filming Transformers 5, Mark tries to wear Wahlburgers merchandise in some high-octane scenes. Actor Josh Duhamel is willing to play ball too, but director Michael Bay is not having the product placement. Tired of Alma only eating at home or Alma Nove, Paul invites his mom out for lunch at a fancy restaurant in downtown Boston.
Mark and Paul visit the Tottenham Hotspur's stadium as a potential Wahlburgers location and learn about a different type of football; Bob surprises Alma with a visit from her daughter Michelle.
Paul heads to Kentucky to be a featured chef at the prestigious Taste of Derby, while his brothers tag along to play the ponies; Mark visits the headquarters of Nike to develop a Wahlburgers shoe.
Mark sets up Paul on a London tour with '80s pop star Rick Astley; Donnie receives cooking tips from Alma.
Alma celebrates the holidays early when Mark and his children arrive in town; circumstances prevent Donnie from attending the festivities, but he sends special gifts to his family.
