Sky New Zealand Originals presents Wheel Blacks: Bodies on the Line, a three-part documentary series following New Zealand's wheelchair rugby team the Wheel Blacks as they battle to rise above declining resources for a chance to qualify for the 2024 Paris Paralympics.
The Wheel Blacks have two chances to qualify for the Paris Paralympics - the first being a few weeks away in Japan. However, with low resources, they struggle to secure a training venue.
The Wheel Blacks arrive in Tokyo for the Asia-Oceania Zonal Championships. Facing the world's top-ranked teams, the Wheel Blacks know they'll have to give it everything they've got.
With only three spots remaining, the Wheel Blacks fight not only for a place at the Paralympics but also for the future of a sport which has transformed their lives.
