A ferry. A train depot. An ice cream factory. With imagination, tenacity and a few bucks, people have turned the most unlikely places into personal palaces. Meet gutsy visionaries who found beauty in dilapidated commercial spaces, turning them into wonderful one-of-a-kind homes on You Live in What?.
Architect George Clarke travels the globe to meet other people who love to build outside the box. Along with master craftsman Will Hardie, planning begins to build a rotating house and George travels back in time with an old railway carriage.
George and Will attempt to create a model for their futuristic rotating home. Then, George watches as a helicopter turns into a guesthouse, a shipwreck appears high on a cliff and a hidden bug's eye home has the best seat on the beach.
George continues to work on his rotating house of the future with Will. Then, a bachelor pad reaches new heights, a treehouse turns into a dreamy dwelling, and an army truck transforms into an overland expedition motor home.
George proves space is limitless as he visits a hidden home behind a block of boards, a scoreboard where sports fans can live and a family's backyard is transformed into a year-long vacation space.
While creating his rotating house of the future with Will, George realizes there's more to homes than walls and a roof. To prove it, he explores a '70s road relic, an ancient water tower and a geodesic dome.
As George continues to build his rotating home of the future, time is the focus. From a home hidden in a clocktower and a remote cabin where time stands still to a rare 1950s RV that is frozen in time, George finds inspiration.
After helping a deserving, wheelchair-bound man achieve freedom with his tiny home on wheels, George and Will reveal their stunning rotating house of the future.
