Next Episode of Bangers & Cash is
unknown.
Bangers & Cash follows the Mathewsons - a dynasty of classic car auctioneers from picturesque North Yorkshire. The charismatic and friendly family hunt for rare vehicles to sell and they uncover some remarkable and heartwarming stories behind the cars as they do.
Derek auctions off a Jensen Interceptor and a Jensen Healey along with a one-off Wood & Pickett Triumph Dolomite Sprint and Sarah takes a shine to a four-tonne road roller which needs a new home.
A 1971 Mercedes SL and a 1989 Jaguar XJS emerge from a barn on a chicken farm, a Roller and a Rover go under the hammer and a 1966 Triumph Spitfire is restored to near perfection.
Derek takes a shine to a rare 1958 Armstrong Siddeley Sapphire with a long family history, a convertible Triumph Herald brings a few smiles on auction day and Sarah casts her critical eye over a set of wartime morale-boosting posters.
An Aston Martin DB6 in need of total restoration looks set to break the Mathewsons auction record, news of a rare Vincent motorbike arriving causes a stir and Sarah falls in love...with a fire engine.
Derek picks up some "emerging" sporting classics from the far east when three Datsun Zs appear, and an unusual lot arrives that run on caterpillar tracks not wheels. Meanwhile Sarah tries to get to grips with an old jukebox with confusing instructions.
There's real Yorkshire drama when Derek auctions off some vehicles that were used in the TV show Heartbeat. There's much love for an Austin Cambridge - and a small and sporty Italian number finds a new home when the hammer comes down.
A rare Honda S800 sports car from 1967 takes Derek's fancy, a couple of very different Ford Capris with long histories go head-to-head at the auction and Sarah is put in charge of looking after some stunning car mascots.
Dave tries to convince a car collector with a serious habit to let go of a few of his 70s and 80s hot hatches. Paul picks up a one-owner Morris Traveller in need of a new home and the military step in to save a very tired scout bus from the crusher.
There is a triple collection of desirable cars in store for Derek when an MG Midget, an Austin-Healey "frogeye" Sprite and a Ford RS2000 come up for auction. A BT van all kitted out for work in 1971 goes under the hammer - and like father like son, it's Dave's turn to take to the auction rostrum.
Dave's son Jack is heading out to Cheshire to collect two cars with a 35-year age difference. And luckily for Mathewsons, Lucy knows exactly what has been brought in for auction.
