In the first episode of the second series, Jason explores accessible luxury on Palm Jumeirah, one of the most glamorous areas of the city, where he'll cook up some surprisingly simple show-stopping dishes such as Buratta Stuffed Tomato and his version of Baked Alaska.
Ranvir Singh takes a deep dive into the Palm before meeting Himanshu Saini, one of the most highly-rated chefs in the world whose Indian cookery has earned him two Michelin stars.
Jason goes back to the roots of Dubai as he explores the diverse Dubai Creek where he cooks up some sensational dishes with spices including a Filipino prawn kare kare. Elsewhere, Ranvir Singh investigates the t time-honoured tradition of pearl diving and meets celebrated local chef Soleman Haddad.
The chef cooks dishes using leftovers that are not only sumptuous but also sustainable, while Ranvir Singh gets a glimpse into what the future of food might look like in Dubai, before being treated to a truly sustainable dish of samphire millet with kingfish
The chef visits Dubai's Old Town, where he gets fully immersed in the culture and cuisine and cooks up some delicious dishes including his take on ouzi, the national dish of the United Arab Emirates. Meanwhile, Ranvir Singh is out and about on the trail of perfume as she discovers the importance of fragrance in the city
The chef is on the beach in the coastal region of Jumeirah, where he delves into the ancient Arabic art of pickling and cooks dishes including a Dubai version of a chip butty. Ranvir Singh meets chef Eva in her family restaurant and is treated to the Levant delight of mutabbaq.
The escapes the city on an epic adventure into the Hajar Mountains where he fires up the coals to barbecue delicious dishes using local ingredients including honey. Elsewhere, Ranvir Singh learns about some amazing local produce before chef Spencer Metzger cooks an incredible dish for her.
Jason is in the Dubai Marina, one of the most popular parts of the city, where he explores food that looks so good it goes viral with a mouth-watering menu that includes baba ganoush and his own version of fish and chips.
The chef is on a health kick and heads out of the city to discover the beauty of the desert with a feel-good menu, including homemade granola, and date caramel cheesecake. Ranvir Singh visits a farm in the dunes to taste edible flowers before meeting a vegan chef who is a mushroom master.
Jason heads in amongst the city's skyscrapers to discover how Dubai's diverse culture has impacted the food scene and cook his version of beans on toast Dubai-style. Elsewhere, Ranvir Singh goes downtown to meet chef Kelvin Cheung as he dishes up his tasty short rib bao bun
The chef is in the western suburb of Al Quoz, where he makes dishes including succulent slow-cooked coffee-glazed short ribs and his take on the classic tarte tatin. Ranvir Singh explores Alserkal Avenue, where chef Keren Ye makes her the perfect pastry of a Bakewell croissant.
