Twenty former athletes, including NFL players and Olympic gold medalists, aim to change their lives on the 16th season of NBC's hit franchise "The Biggest Loser: Glory Days," Thursdays 8/7c.
This season, the contestants are working with new trainers Jessie Pavelka and Jennifer Widerstrom, as well as veteran trainers Dolvett Quince and Bob Harper. Alison Sweeney has also returned as host.
The contestants are led by former NFL players Scott Mitchell (12 seasons in the NFL) and Damien Woody (two-time Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots), as well as Olympic gold medalist and former professional tennis star Zina Garrison. Other contestants striving for weight loss include former WNBA standout Vanessa Hayden, three-time Olympic gold medal softball player Lori Harrigan-Mack, and a mix of former college and high school sports standouts. There are six contestants left—and no more teams. Everyone is wearing the same uniform now. That means they also have to hold themselves that much more accountable for every minute, every rep, every calorie, every challenge, every pound if they intend to stay any longer. Just when you think they've been pushed to the brink, think again. This burn is going to turn into an inferno.
The contestants get the encouragement they need to keep going forward on their adventure.
The final four contestants revisit a fitness milestone to see how much progress they have made.
All twelve contestants return to The Biggest Loser campus for one final weigh-in, to see where they've come since they started. One person will win $100,000 and the title of The Biggest Loser. One of the eliminated contestants will win the $25,000 At-Home Prize.
