Then Holly moves in with Val, and the sisters discover they may make better siblings than roomies in this bright, giddy comedy set in Manhattan - and in the hearts of sisters everywhere.
Vince and Henry anxiously await Holly's return from Europe while Rick impulsively proposes to Val, who suspects she's pregnant.
The sisters endure a sleepless night when Holly storms out over Val's refusal to let Ben stay in their loft. Vince ends up being more accommodating despite the awkward position Holly puts him in.
Jesse McCartney appears as himself and performs as tensions surface between Holly and Ben over her efforts to land him a gig. Meanwhile, Val is miffed with Lauren, who keeps interfering with her wedding preparations.
A sudden career break for Ben sends Val into a fury after Holly postpones her sister's bachelorette party to attend his gig. Also: Gary makes his move on a dance teacher.
To pay for Val's wedding gift, Holly tries to outdo her mane rival for a shampoo commercial; Tina develops a crush on a married vet; Val loses a diamond bracelet while sneaking around Rick's apartment.
Holly is ready to tell Ben that she loves him---but she can't admit that she hates his new song; Val isn't ready to share her space with Rick's stuff.
After dropping out of college, Holly tries to turn Gary's girlfriend into a pop star; Lauren persuades Val to stay at a nudist ranch.
Rick invites his parents to dinner on short notice, shifting Val into panic mode when her "mutton entree" turns out to be a live lamb. Elsewhere, Ben and Holly quarrel over gigs she booked for him.
To ease Val's wedding jitters, Holly and Lauren calmly handle the final details---until a problem with the dress sends them into panic mode. To make matters worse, Holly spots Rick with his ex-fiancée.
As Val and Rick's wedding approaches, both are overcome with a case of the jitters that threatens their marriage before it begins.

As Valentine's Day approaches, Holly's heart is torn between Ben and Vince, while Val and Gary invent a secret admirer for lovelorn Lauren.

Jennie Garth's former "Beverly Hills, 90210" costar Luke Perry guest stars as a plumber who reveals details of his past with Val; Holly fumes about Tina's tryst with Vince.

Vince plans a summer in Florida after convincing himself that Holly loves Henry, while Val tries to take her mind off Rick's marriage with a night out on the town.
