This patio room looked like a junkyard filled with mismatch furniture, broken windows and bug filled ceiling lights. In just 3 days, this room got all new windows, bi-fold doors, bar area, wine storage, a pass-through bar, engineered hardwood flooring and an entire set of furniture. The outdoor patio area got a facelift too with new landscaping, a custom picnic table/bench and a wine barrel kegerator.

These homeowners were not using their formal living room for anything but storage. With high hopes to entertain and a love of karaoke, this boring room and mix and match furniture and exposed concrete floors is completely transformed into a high-end karaoke bar. From a concrete bar mixed with live edge and metal, to a hidden fold down karaoke staged faced with Brazilian hardwood , this new and improved room is perfect to entertain in.

An uninviting family room turns into an airy, light-filled modern space by adding a new wall of glass. An unused doorway go away, while a hidden door is used to camouflage a funky entryway. The space gets cozy with a new wood ceiling, laminate flooring and a graphic wall design. In three days, the room is completely torn down- all the way to the foundation and rebuilt into a high end wine room with a new tall ceilings with custom reclaimed treatments, custom sliding doors to hide the laundry, modern wall treatments and high impact windows and doors. Plus, the room has all new purpose as it becomes a wine lounge, with a custom bar, cotton wood dining table and a hide away beer pong table with an Arizona twist!

An undone kitchen and cramped office space become one large open space for the whole family when Josh Temple takes down and wall and completely transforms this New Orleans space. In three days, the kitchen gets refinished cabinets, paper composite countertops, a custom island and a sleek workspace with built in storage and more. Plus, hip vinyl flooring and some funky pieces of furniture finish off the space.

These new homeowners want to update their kitchen to reflect their modern taste. Josh demo's the outdated galley kitchen and opens it up to the adjacent dining room providing a more inviting layout. The dining room gets a custom modern dining table, and the parquet floor is painted.

This large family room was overtaken by awkward furniture layout, floor to ceiling 70s rock wall, formica bar,dust collecting built-in cabinets and dog beds. The homeowner admits to having no style and it showed in this outdated 80s family room. Every problem is solved in this makeover with all new carpet, walk-in bar, a sleek new fireplace, dog bed area, custom desk, and a new layout perfect for watching TV.

Josh and the House Crashers crew attack a house that needs both a new kitchen and living room. After unifying the space with demo and a hickory floor, they create two amazing wall treatments, one using vertically installed quartzite and the other using piles of books. Now things like new lighting, paint, cabinets, countertops and a custom bench made with re-purposed palettes can complete this space. The final reveal is nothing short of jaw dropping and the homeowners are left with a one of a kind renovation to almost half of their home, and all in three days.

The timing couldn't have been better for this newlywed couple who just moved into grandma's house. Josh's crew takes this room to the 21st century. Wood paneling, mauve carpet, 70s furniture, window shutters, avocado green tile and rot iron doors go away in this three day crash. The young couple gets an indoor/outdoor space perfect for entertaining friends and family.

Josh and the House Crashers crew find a couple who need a new bedroom in the Big Easy. The space is large and long, with much of it wasted, and offering very little storage. Starting with the floor, this room gets a complete transformation which includes a bed made of reclaimed doors with a footboard which houses a automated TV lift. A new closet is built into the corner and custom cabinetry clads several walls. Antique french doors are installed, vintage windows are used to create a small room divider while new lights and paint take the room over the top.


S08E12 - Dividing the Family Room Air Date: 10 September 2013 02:00 -

Josh finds a young LA couple that have a family room issue. The space is pretty large, but serves as everything from space for the kids to play to office to hangout for darts night with the boys. Seeing a real need for direction, Josh and the House Crashers crew first tear off all of the paneled walls and add hardwood flooring. Next the space gets divided using first a gigantic door with a distressed Union Jack flag on one side and cork board on the other. Then the rest of the room divider is custom built using huge basket weave patterned modular puzzle pieces. In addition to new furniture, lighting, paint, storage cabinets, and massive desk space, Josh also designs and builds a custom bar height table distressed with blow torches. Speechless is one of the only words the homeowners can come up with when they get to the final reveal of two completely new spaces.


S08E13 - Outdoor Wine Bar Café Air Date: 17 September 2013 03:00 -

Comfortable with DIY projects, these homeowners faced a challenge with their oddly shaped breakfast nook. The small space was a magnet for junk and unsuitable for entertaining. With room to expand to the outside, new French doors open out onto a new teak deck. A wine bar gets built with custom cabinetry and granite with a butcher block and marble cheeseboard. A travertine tile floor and wine barrel inspired wall treatments top off this crash.
