The Super Sentai Series is the name given to the long-running Japanese superhero team genre of shows produced by Toei Co., Ltd., Toei Agency and Bandai, and aired by TV Asahi ("Super" refers to their use of mecha, and "sentai" is the Japanese word for "task force" or, literally, "fighting squadron" and was also a term used for Japanese squadrons in World War II). The shows are of the tokusatsu genre, featuring live action characters and colorful special effects, and are aimed mainly at children. The Super Sentai Series is one of the most prominent tokusatsu productions in Japan, alongside the Ultra Series and the Kamen Rider Series, which it currently airs alongside in the Super Hero Time programming block on Sundays. Outside Japan, the Super Sentai Series are best known as the source material for the Power Rangers franchise.
Asuka, AbareBlack, must gather together three humans with overflowing Dino Guts to become the Abarangers to face against the invading force of the Evolians and the brainwashed and rampaging Bakuryuu.
The Abarangers must convince the hard-nosed Yukito Sanjyou to join the Abarangers permanently so that the Bakuryuu can form Abaren'oh to fight off the Evolians.
Meanwhile, Yukito finds himself in a situation where a kid wants a beloved toy car from within the rubble of the invasion-destroyed part of Tokyo.
Ryouga struggles to find a balance between his new obligations as an Abaranger, and being a full-time guardian to his niece, Mai.
Ranru attempts to convince a boy to regain faith in himself, whilst simultaneously protecting him from a gun-slinging Trinoid.
Yukito is tracked down by an old chiropractic patient of his who claims he was unsuccessful in treating her. Meanwhile, the Abarangers are left defenseless against the first Giganoid when Brachio is injured. In a search for a solution, Asuka is attacked once again by the mysterious armor.
A rival idol from Ranru's past becomes her concern once again after a Trinoid steals her youth and turns her into an old lady.
The birth of Bachycelonagurus allows Asuka to restore his Dino Harp key. When the other Abarangers are scattered across the world by the latest Trinoid, Asuka comes to the rescue, but is met by Jeanne who reveals to him a crushing truth.
A fictional hero from outer space appears in the real world to defend the city against a Giganoid, swaying the kids of Japan and even the Abarangers onto his side. Elsewhere, Asuka is left feeling frustrated and helpless after a debilitated performance in the last battle. When Jeanne appears again with a despicable new plan, Asuka struggles to abandon his thirst for revenge.
Ryouga becomes trapped in a Trinoid's dimension with a man who considers himself worthless and is contemplating suicide!
Yukito must contemplate the power of wealth when he meets his favorite baseball player, who becomes transformed by a Trinoid into a money-spending maniac.
In order to master the power of the Armor of Darkness, Jeanne solicits the help of a Trinoid who runs a strange school that promises to grant psychic powers to humans. When Emiri discovers that her friend has joined the school, the Abarangers investigate by posing as high schoolers. Meanwhile, Asuka tracks a new Bakuryuu... straight to Jeanne.
The Abarangers journey to Kyoto to investigate reports of a giant saw wreaking havoc. There they find Bakuryuu Dimenokodon, under the control of Jeanne, who has finally mastered the Armor of Darkness. Asuka and Jeanne face-off once again, whilst the remaining Abarangers and Bakuryuu try to stop the combined threat of Dimenokodon and a new Giganoid.
Still stuck in the Edo period, the Abarangers sans Asuka endeavor to protect Princess Sakihime from a trio of recycled Trinoids. In present time, a mysterious girl intervenes in the battle between Asuka and Jeanne, stirring unwanted emotions in the latter. Asuka wonders if the remaining Abarangers will ever return.
In an attempt to discover the reason behind Sugishita's frequent disappearances, Ranru follows a map that leads her to an old acquaintance of his, Denjirou, who has been trying to excavate a dinosaur fossil for most of his life. When Voffa turns the fossil into a Giganoid, Ranru is torn by what to protect - the city, or Denjirou's dream.
When the latest Trinoid's abilities inflicts most of the Abarangers with their greatest hatred, they work on learning to overcome them to gain resistance against this ability. In particular, Yukito must overcome the personal issues he has with his father, a wealthy businessman.
Yukito's failure to overcome his greatest hatred leads Ryouga to intervene to help Yukito understand the real issue behind Yukito's hatred towards his father. Meanwhile a boy who was injured holds the key to the location of the next missing Bakuryuu.
A dance by Ryunosuke to cheer Asuka up discomforts him to the point of believing that finding true peace is hopeless!
A fifth Abaranger appears before the team, but proves himself to be an antagonistic warrior using a dangerous prototype who merely wants to see himself as the team's rival!
Fearing the potential of Mikoto if he revives his Bakuryuu partner, the Abaranger try to find him to prevent the awakening, even as the Evolians create another Giganoid to halt both of them.
Mikoto and TopGaler grant a taste of power to Bakuryuu Stegoslidon, making him doubt whether he can reach his full potential remaining on the Abaranger's side.
While Ranru has to deal with the advances of the Trinoid Yatsudenwani who has fallen in love with her, the Abaranger and AbareKiller compete to get ahold of the final missing Bakuryuu, Bakuryuu Ankyloveilus who appears to have no interest in joining either side.
Mikoto challenges the Abaranger to play a game to figure out the location of a Trinoid to stop a dark scheme involving using it's power to make children riot.
Trapped within AbareKiller's dark game with little time to save two Bakuryuu, the Abaranger must figure out a means to defeat the Trinoid and save their partners in the nick of time.
Mikela and Voffa are sent to Another Earth and begin collecting things of interest with their catalog including most of the Abaranger. With only Yukito left, he and Emiri must trick the two into obtaining it to save the others.
Ryouga tries to help a boy become a champion track runner, as a new Trinoid causes dark consequences to anyone who makes a wish on it.
Worlds collide when a Trinoid kidnaps the son of an animated character, forcing him to assist the Abaranger to save him.
When Ryouga and Yukito's minds are switched between their bodies by the latest Trinoid, they have to pretend to be the other until they can find a way to reverse it.
When the Evolian begin kidnapping brides, the Abarangers attempt to locate the brides, which also becomes personal for Asuka when it makes him think of his own engagement.
Mikoto is forced to deal with the runaway Reje as Mikela sends a powerful Trinoid to defeat the Abaranger and get her back.
Asuka madly begins to work to uncover the truth of a dream about a new warrior while learning a shocking secret about his past as the Abaranger face a new powerful creation released from the new Evolian leader: Mikoto!
With time running out for the Bakuryuu after their defeat against Mikoto's KillerGhost, the Abaranger must hold out until Asuka completes their new ultimate weapon to summon the ultimate warrior.

Ranru infiltrates a museum to get back a wedding band made for Mahoro by Asuka, while dealing with a Trinoid trying to regain a power for the assistance of Dezumozorlya.
Tricera transforms into a human boy in order to experience it for a day, ultimately helping Yukito in rooting out a bizarre Giganoid plot.
Reje transforms into a mature woman in order to please Mikoto, using her new power and command to lead a scheme to separate children and families with a Giganoid.
With her parents planning to relocate to Thailand, Emiri must work on convincing them to let her remain in Japan so she can continue supporting the Abaranger team, even if it means pretending to be an actual Abaranger herself.
After the truth of Asuka's situation is revealed, the Abarangers work on saving Emiri, while Mahoro decides to deal with saving Asuka by herself.
A two-way struggle emerges as the final confrontation with the Armor of Darkness approaches, which gets worse when Mahoro apparently has become Jeanne again to support Mikoto's side.
As the Abaranger decide to hold Christmas early, Mikela releases a Santa Trinoid with the purpose of turning the people of Another Earth into Barmia Soldiers, though his actual goal is for something more devastating.
As they keep fending off Mikoto's attacks, the Abaranger make a surprising discovery regarding his past, while Mikela and Voffa decide to manipulate an important revelation about AbareKiller to their own advantage.
Having become fused with the Killer Giganoid, the Abaranger must decide whether Mikoto is worth saving before the return of the Dezumozolrya of Another Earth is completed!
The Abaranger peculiarly become office workers who dream of becoming heroes, unaware of the weird circumstances that lead to their predicament.
A Trinoid created to celebrate Dezumozolrya's return is sent to Another Earth, where it brings New Years mayhem to all that encounter it.
Both the Abaranger and Mikoto work to try and stop the very first Trinoid from completing his mission of creating Dezumozolrya's ultimate body before allies and civilians lose their lives in the process.
Mahoro sends the Abaranger important data on a prophecy of how all 5 Abarangers must bring their power together. After Mikoto runs off, the other Abarangers confront Dezumozoryla, who is now aware of Mahoro's betrayal, and transforms Rejewel's body into a new form: DezumoRejewel. With the team overpowered can Mikoto arrive in time to save the others?
Having taken over the combined body of its former apostles, Dezumozorlya works to bring back an even more impressive form, as an Abaranger becomes caught in the crosshairs leading to his final fate.
As Dezumozorlya is revealed to still be alive and commences his final attack, the Abarangers must split into two groups, where the first group must hold off Dezumozorlya so the second group can rescue Mahoro.
Despite succeeding in their mission of saving Mahoro, Dezumozorlya still has the upper hand, which the four Abarangers must draw out their inner power if they have any chance of succeeding.
