Phil Spencer meets new parents Dom and Arta who are looking to get back into the housing market after selling their first flat and moving into a rental but Liverpool-native Dom is shocked by how little their budget of £1million will buy them. First-time buyers Beth and Rory are facing a no-fault eviction and turn to Kirstie Allsopp for help finding their first home but a nasty fall puts their search on hold.

Kirstie Allsopp and Phil Spencer catch up with Zoe and Jason in Edinburgh and Ahmad and Lois in Birmingham who they helped find their perfect properties 2020 to see how they've made their homes their own. Phil finds that after a £375,000 renovation, Zoe and Jason's home is different in every way possible and Kirstie discovers Ahmad and Lois' home is unrecognisable from when they bought it.

The first flat Kirstie and Phil showed them was so good the pair put an offer in before they even left. In 2021, Lauren and Noel sold their 250-year-old cottage in Northampton and needed help house hunting in Northumberland. Now Phil returns to find out how they've made the new-build they bought into a home.
