Kirstie and Phil are in Greater Manchester. Kirstie searches the city suburbs for engaged couple Kate and Vicky, who are looking for their first home, where they hope to start a family. Meanwhile, Phil meets Bolton-born and bred couple Angelina and Thomas, who have recently sold the house they have lived in for over 30 years.

Kirstie and Phil head for Warwickshire and the West Midlands, property hunting for two couples keen to expand their families into bigger homes. Kirstie is searching around Leamington Spa for Clare and Matt, veterans of 30 fruitless viewings. Phil is looking for the perfect semi-rural spot for vets Sam and Andy, and the search becomes a game of compromise between the right house and right location.

This week Kirstie and Phil are helping two sets of house hunters find homes around Glasgow. In a market where properties can achieve bids more than ten per cent over the asking price, our couples have been struggling to compete. Kirstie's searching for Steph and Nick, who are still living with their parents and are desperate to buy a home that will bring them together. Cutting out the starter flat, to go straight to the future proof family home they've saved hard for their deposit. Kirstie's challenge is to manage expectations of what they can afford but will they go for the sensible choice or the show-stopping showhome? There will be tears... Meanwhile, Phil's searching around Bearsden for Ranald and Marjorie, who are looking for a bungalow to retire to. However, rather than downsizing, they're upsizing: this fun-loving pair of grandparents needs more space to entertain family and friends, not to mention space for a vintage rally car.

Kirstie Allsopp's in Blackpool helping Matthew and Kieran, who've been seeking a bigger home for nine months. Phil Spencer's in the Lake District with Diana, a climber who has fallen for the charms of one of Britain's most beautiful spots. Diana's relocating from Scotland, and has been sofa surfing with her sister and living out the back of her car for a year as she struggles to find a home. Can Phil help her to finally put down roots?
